Playing with lights, skies and atmosphere and some free HD wallpapers

Hi everyone,

I have a new world on his way (totally wood made). Meanwhile i have played around with some pictures, around atmosphere, lights and so to bring some new ways and feelings into Medieval Engineers. Along the way i think it could be good to have more options of skies, clouds and colors at ME. That would make it something very different i am sure.

I haven't published this world at steam yet, as being busy produicing some videos around it. The name will be Motte and bailey castle 1170. There is a lot of historical work behind it with many readings, references and archeologic sources to discover more about medieval life and the birth of feudality in Europe. A lot of building, (included the donjon) are inspired from archeological sources in here

Bailey and motte castles were a very popular form of castle that appeared in the late 11th century. They have last or even appeared in some places up to the 14th century. Though it has been for long considered as the ancestor of the stone castles, during the 20th, medieval history showed that some stone donjons and castles were already being built during the 11th. In any case Fire was the main enemy of such buildings.

About the videos, there will be three episodes (average 30 minutes duration) named : "everything you always wanted to know about motte and bailey castles". At first stage, the videos will be released in french but i will then make them in english (some serious additionnal work required as i am always doing it on the fly and without notes ).
