    Summary
This week we are introducing the first four tutorial scenarios. These scenarios are designed to slowly introduce new players to the basics of the game. The first tutorial is about movement & tools, the second is about building your first ship, the third scenario revolves around ore refining & component assembly and the last one is focused on conveyors, connectors, ejectors and collectors. Although the tutorial scenarios are basically designed for novice players, they are quiet fun to play even for the more experienced ones. Moreover, we have added the option to make voxels indestructible. This option can be found in world settings and when it is checked, it will disable everything that has any effect on voxels (drills, weapons, ship crashing, etc.). If the option is unchecked and the player edits the voxels, it should be possible to apply the option again, and all edited voxels will be indestructible as before. Lastly, ventilation blocks can now trigger other blocks based on room pressurization, this will make automated air locks easier to build.

    Features
    - tutorial scenarios
    - indestructible voxels option
    - air vent can trigger other blocks

    Fixes
    - fixed HUD never updating its status
    - fixed issue with voxel hand breaking the toolbar
    - fixed interaction after death
    - fixed issue when making screenshots using multiplier in DX9
    - fixed button panel not showing description
    - fixed warp drive can end in generated asteroid
    - fixed reorder clusters removes entity if it instantaneously moves more than a cluster size
    - fixed made scenario settings hint visible in scenario edit mode

    EDIT 07/23/2015:
    Update 01.092.008

    - added nullchecks in get server
    - fixed crash when attaching landing gears
    - fixed crash with scrap metal
    - fixed crash in component serialization from scripts

I guess letting people play together is not a priority.

    Goddamnit, uneditable AGAIN?

So lemme see - very few bug fixes considering we were promised focusing on bug fixing and new scenarios instead, which even Keen acknowledges few people want.

I was excited for Bug Crunch :(

Are there pictures of this happening to anyone out there? I would dearly love to see the aftermath of such an event.

Hit the nail right on the head, Rotal. Couldn't have said it better myself.

Except for the part that mentions that the bug fixing would be the only thing or substantial or that it would exclude additional scenario content...so no, didn't really hit the nail on the head. More like the thumb.

Since I saw the interview with Marek Rosa, I don't really expect anything big till 1.100, so I say this update is nice. I really like indestructible voxels as well, now I can start building a deathmatch map. :)

#1 I am always loving when good tutorials appear to give new players (those who actually want to do tutorials) the chance to get a good starter knowledge.
#2 While this is usefull for later as more and more players come (Humble Bundle right now!), I feel that a working multiplayer would be more "advertising". ("Hey look this cool game, want to play with me and build massive stuff on a server?")
#3 I lol'd a bit on that ejector arm sequence, how much shake happened and what the actual result would have been in Multiplayer (Half the items lost in the void of limited objects, half of it forcing the arm to eject from the rotor and smash something).

What would be better is to define specific indestructible voxels. So you could make a T/DM map within a 'roid but allow players to blow parts of the map to create new paths and stuff. Kind of how I heard Red Faction was.

I was to late to the party to know much about Red Faction. Only ones of the franchise ive played were Guerrilla and Armageddon.

Stuck at work, does anyone know if they fixed the foot step sound bug or the hearing other players placing blocks no matter how far away they are?

Interesting, making the vents able to change the doors of an airlock seems useful, but I wonder if it's possible to use it to fully automate both an airlock's doors wihout having to resort to coding?

On that note, I'd like to see some tutorials on coding itself for the future. I can't get my head around it and I need it for an especially large and complex ship I'm making.

I'm certainly willing to agree to disagree on interpretation but this post seems rather unambiguous:

So naturally i expected a wall of text for bug fixes. Instead we get a short list that wouldn't be out of place in a patch that implemented something big too. And while the Tutorial Scenarios are probably nice for a few new players they're also unloved by what seems to be at least a vocal minority (with a seemingly even more minor opposition that likes them) and they'll undoubtedly be outdated within a month or two.

The netcode and the bug fixing is most important thing they should be working on along with planets, does anyone not think its abit too late to be adding to tutorials. but well done with the airvent triggering blocks i like that.

They never said that they would fix all the bugs in one week - your expectations are wildly outside the bounds of reality. It must suck to be you, always unsatisfied with everything because you could do it so much better... so when are you going to take over for Keen? Apparently you could make this game perfect in 7 days, right?

Indestructible blocks sounds quite handy if you have to leave your server unattended but don't want to shut it down. Letting specific blocks be indestructible would also be fantastic for scenarios; you could make a large scale, long term pvp war scenatio, wit the home bases as safe zones.

Vent controls is very handy, and a great anti frustration feature. Also saves us some space on our ships that would otherwise be occupied by timers or program blocks to achieve the same effect.

Hoping the tutorials reduce the amount of RAEG from new, frustrated players.

This game is still pre-release - the perfect time to add tutorials. If it left early access, and then got tutorials a year later, that might be a bit too late... but when the game isn't even released yet, it's not too late to add anything at all ;)

Nice, really happy about the air vent trigger and indestructible voxels should make for an interesting "piracy only world".

My airlock control script handles as many airlocks as needed, controlling all vents in any given room simultaneously, and it does all that with just one programmable block and one timer block ;)
