Update 01.127 - Improved autopilot, wheels replacement

    Summary
    In this week's update, we're bringing you a few new features. We've prepared a new respawn ship system for you, replacement of destroyed wheels, worked on the autopilot, and added a new sound when putting the helmet visor up and down. Landers now spawn lower in the atmosphere, so players don't have to wait until the ship reaches the atmosphere. Also, ships with ion thrusters are now spawned in space instead of the atmosphere. Replacing destroyed wheels is done by clicking on the button in the terminal. When the wheel is not damaged, the button is grayed out. Lastly, autopilot should follow the points correctly and should not randomly turn on.
    Keep in mind that we've also got lots of optimizations going on in the background. Though they're not visible at the moment, you'll see them implemented in the coming weeks and months. Stay tuned!

    - fixed camera gets into characters head
    - fixed the export for 3D prints from game doesn't export texture files on Directx11
    - fixed some more pull requests from various blocks (oxygen generator, drills)
    - fixed rotors getting detached when merging station
    - fixed remote control only works with ion thrusters

    Hotfix 01.127.11
    - fixed crash on parallel tasks
    - fixed crash when disconnecting during an explosion
    - fixed crash when sending a faction message
    - fixed crash when using automatic rifle
    - fixed crash when using hand drill

    Will the change to respawn ships cause everyone on a server to spawn at the same place if they use the same ship?

    I only see absolute coordinates in the .sbc files:

    Interesting. Glad I can fix my vehicle graveyard!

    I played yesterday for the first time in over a month, and I have to say that you Devs have done a GREAT job improving the framerate! Everything seems so much smoother now!

    before cyberdogs etc. all was fine and ok :) now so many players stopped playing SE because they don't work for a good server simulation speed and stability

    yes!!! im happy they finally fixed the 3D model export thing. on dx11 it didn't exported with textures. thanks a lot! :)

    Yay...replacement possible on wheels!
    Hopefully, also, there is fix on the conveyor issues from the last patch which broke all the conveyor-sorters. According to the chatter on the stream Tuesday night, the fix was done.

    every bug fix helps .... but the above are ones that really help me :)

    none of these changes actually do much to fix the most crippling aspects of multiplayer survival gameplay. invisible ships after jumps, ghost projections, and ghost inventory.

    then the worst of all, ghost blocks when printing ships off projections. the net code is so unstable you have to refresh servers after printing anything.

    The respawn ship location thingy seems cool, but I really wish I knew how it worked...

    Maybe it would have been more intuitive if a server admin could set respawn points, then a new player could choose a ship and point of respawn separately.

    Awesome fixes keen. Though I really don't understand, I mean I know it was weeks ago, but have you guys LOOKED at the windows? I don't understand why you made them almost opaque, think it looks remotely okay, and have since blatantly ignored the masses of people asking for them to be switched back. I know developers read these comments, I know a developer will read this reply, and I just don't like the fact and don't understand why every developer who reads this will completely ignore it. WINDOWS LOOK LIKE TRASH.

    Still, not complaining about the regular generally good updates, thank you for fixing broken stuff!
