I can tell that I've been playing too long if I start to imagine how the various geometric shapes random objects lying around my house would be comprised of the various shapes of block from the game.
When you go back to KSP and you start using space to go up and c to go down in EVA and wonder if you discovered a bug because the jetpack is not working.
Your at work and your formatting a document and you click "0" to deselect something. Just happened to me twice lol.
You refurbish the big blue ship and it ends up looking like a penis
Gaming Experience Imrpoved
You Know You Play Too Much Space Engineers When....you live on the forum and post every single day, multiple times a day.
I started worrying about the lack of airlocks at my school building.
You know you play too much Space Engineers when you read a thread like this, recognise all the behavior in yourself, and don't see any of this as a problem.
when youre playing a WW2 tank game and realize you forgot to refuel your refinery ship
I only do that because I literally do not have much to do at work.
I have lots of spare time. Which is why im pretty much like Barrio said. Except for when im playing space engineers or GTA5.
when you have to go out for a diligence, and you think, it could have been whatever day, but NO! it has to be thursday! gooooooood! is this irony or what?
I really don't know what irony means, don't make fun of me, is complicated o.O
EDIT: not really... Im back
When you build massive ships in 4 hours.
you stop what you are doing at work to go update your steam workshop because you realize you listed 12 thrusters and not 17 in the description.
When you set money aside for a replacement keyboard every week because you know you'll be mashing the F5 key come Patchmass.
when your almost late for work becase you 1 forgot to set time but thinking you did, and 2 thinking of new design of a small cargoship waiting for the Clock to ring
When you drive your car and wish to press W to save some fuel during straight lines...
Or when you think about building a beacon on your car to find it in that damn gigantic supermarket parking.
When you rebind your controls in other games to better match those in Space Engineers. 'C' is always crouch for me now.
When you press "E" to rotate in PS2/BF4 and eject yourself a out of your hard-earned air vehicle instead...
When you're at school on the thupdate and you don't pay attention to anything your teachers say because you are too busy thinking of ways to utilize the new objects
When you dream of spherical gravity generators being in the game, and then a few days later come patchmas they are introduced...
Pity I can't have a similar premonition when it comes to lotto numbers.
I also wish while I drive my car that I can turn inertia dampeners off so I can take my foot off the pedal.
2173 in game hours and counting....
When you try to use T to enter your car and Y to start it.
And yes, thats my car lol
I suppose P would be the parking break.
...You tell people NASA is a joke and they should visit YOUR Workshop.
...you mention to the wife that if you hang any more pictures on the wall, the frame rate will begin to drop.
i see that dent on my car and wish I had a SE Welder.
First time on the forums.
So, I guess ill drop my first post here...
- When you Constantly grow paranoid of other engineers
And develop Space madness.
- When you spend more time Making guns and Ammo rather than making ships because of that recent Grief attack.
When you design a ship on your finals then ask the teacher for a copy so you can build it in game
(AND HE GAVE ME A COPY!)
When I look at the sky at night and thought to myself... "Yeah.. we really need that higher resolutions skybox texture in the game."
