Update 01.074 – Oxygen!

    Summary
    Oxygen has been added in Space Engineers! This means that now you can take off your character’s helmet, but only inside the medical room. When the character takes off the helmet inside an environment without oxygen, he will receive damage. In addition, you are now able to obtain ice and generate oxygen out of it by using the oxygen generator. This device needs to be connected to an air vent that will emit the oxygen inside the room.

    Moreover, we’ve implemented the “drain all” option for the sorter block that will push all items trough the block and the "switch" statement for the programmable block.

    Features
    - oxygen (generation and management)
    - "drain all" option for sorter block
    - "switch" statement for programmable block

    Note: ice will be generated in new worlds.

    Fixes
    - fixed crash when connecting laser antenna
    - fixed drills not sending ore to cargo containers
    - fixed welder (tool) welding faster than ship welder
    - fixed client cannot weld or grind
    - fixed programmable block button always in OFF state
    - fixed rotor textures

    Update 01.074.010</strong>
    - added DS zip into SE folders
    - fixed vent placement causing crash to desktop
    - fixed default values to enable oxygen for DS
    - warning is shown in oxygen blocks when oxygen is disabled in settings.
    - added documentation into tools directory
    - added missing redists
    - added interfaces for Oxygen and conveyor sorter for MOD API/ ingame

    I love the fact the medieval engineers soundtrack started playing after he took off the helmet :woot: The face does look a bit... out of place atm.

    I guess we are now one step closer to planets then!

    But I have a question: Is there at the moment any advantage to remove the helmet or will it come later?

    A second question is does somebody knows if there is planned for SE that there is a story coming or a main goal where you can play towards?
