For some odd reason, air vents will idle at a minimalist power usage until they attempt to pressurize/depressurize a room; but then, will stay at full power usage even when there is no activity. To make this more clear that something is wrong, turning off the air vent does not stop the power consumption, either. It will only revert to idle power upon world load.

Noticed that too, even grinding it to near break point it uses power.

as of 1.182.3 I can now turn off air vents.

But there is still the issue of air vents using no power until they pressurize/depressurize a room, then proceeding to use full power even when doing nothing. Turning off an air vent does not fix this behavior, and the power usage only goes back to standby on world load.

Yeah, I have the same problem. On a small enough ship, it drains the battery pretty quickly.
