I have experienced an issue to where my dedicated server looked like it was saving but files were actually not being saved. After looking at the logs, it seems the Earthlike planet voxel file gets renamed several times after changes are made to it and there are several numbers pending at the end of the name until eventually the game cannot "overwrite" it anymore due to the filename is to big.

Heres my logfile...I only included the end because I think thats all that is needed. I believe my save "location" is to long which is the directory. So I guess the combination between the LONG voxel filename and my directory, it reaches the max characters? But, eventually, if the voxels keeps changing and saving I will reach the character length again even if I decrease the size of characters of the directory. So, I'm seeing the filename of the voxels getting to long as a bug.

There's been multiple reports of this issue, there are at least 3 other threads reporting it. It appears to have started to happen in November. Some of the threads have posted workarounds, none have been responded to by a developer, so whether it's been acknowledged or is on the list of known bugs to be fixed is unknown.
