you input a speed vector my pressing [wasd] while controlling the ship.

the recorded velocity vector is stored normalized. if you are controlling the ship and have ID off, then the script keeps previously recorded velocity vector (at 1 m/s).

might be useful for bulk welding long surfaces.

    works in gravity.

I'm not smart enough can you explain it in laymen terms? :p

is it similar to cruse control?

probably. can you post a link?

it's not a good explanation, but i will just leave it here:)

if you need to keep a speed of N m/s (1 m/s atm), you disable dampeners, press "w" for a sec, and after you release the key, the script will keep it's previous velocity vector (direction) scaled down to 1 m/s (speed).

manual override (full control over the ship by a human being b/n a wheel and a chair) is enabled if you enable dampeners
