Armor block appearance does not match the other blocks

All of the armor blocks are patchy which is a stark contrast to the pristine appearance of the other blocks such as atmospheric thrusters or cargo containers. The issue isn't apparently as big of a problem with large blocks, however from a distance, the patchy appearance of the armor blocks is visually distracting, especially when using brighter colors such as white. Keen really needs to pick one visual aesthetic and stick with it.
