    Hello,

I'm having problems launching the game. I've checked the minimum requirements and I should just make the minimum requirements. My laptop has the Intel(R) HD Graphics card (it's integrated). I checked my dxdiag and it says that I do have DirectX 11 installed and running on my laptop. I'm not sure how to read my log file to troubleshoot this better myself. Would someone be able to help me out? If so it would be much appreciated, I would really like to be able to play ME.

I think it may be a Intel HD Graphics 3000 or 4000, but I'm not 100% sure. I've looked at my display adapters under the device manager and at the dxdiag box and I can only find the name "Intel(R) HD Graphics" listed with no further model number given. I can post a picture of my dxdiag window though. I apologize, I have no idea how to find the model number.

Oddly enough, I tried to install the driver update you linked kagurazaki but I received the error message "Error: This computer does not meet the minimum requirements for installing the software." Unless that driver update is for a completely different graphics card I don't see how I could not meet the minimum requirements for a driver update. That driver update looked like it should have worked though.

I tried updating my graphics card driver recently (before posting here) and the newest version I could find was the one dated 2/19/13. Do I need to install each update since then one at a time? Am I missing something?

The driver update utility from Intel is actually what I used to install what I currently have. As far as the hardware ID tool, it instructed me to look up the Adapter tab. This is what it shows me:

No its fine, I appreciate all of the troubleshooting you've done with me so far. I just don't understand why ME won't work if I can play all of those other games.

    Hi.Well, I have possible solution.
    1) Try go in to your steamlibrary or just Steam(I don't know where did you install it)
    /staemapps/common/MedievalEngineers/_CommonRedist
and try to run that install(.exe) in DirectX and DotNet.
2)go to your steamlibrary->local files and try the last one(I don't know the name because I have my steam in Czech language)
3)Just try to delete all ME folders and reinstall
If this doesn't help then may the god be with you :D
(Sorry for bad english. I hope you understand all of this if not just ask :))

Hi, thank you for the input but would you be able to clarify a bit?
    1) What file am I suppose to run? What do you mean run it in DirectX or Dotnet? Are you saying I should run a particular file in those programs? If so how would I do that?
    2) Try to run what file? Even if it's in Czech would you be able to perhaps translate the name?

What about your processor? That could also be holding you down. Either way you should use a dedicated Graphics card for this game.

I have i3 quad core processors. Certainly not the best but at the very least the quad cores let me overclock a bit. The computer I use is a laptop, specifically the Dell Studio 1558 model. I only have the Intel(R) HD Graphics Card, there is no other for my entire system. Since the video card is soldered onto the motherboard I can't upgrade either.
