Just to test it you could try changing the monitor, since you can't see the menu, the action required from a fresh start up of the game would be

3xdown, then space/enter, 1xdown, space/enter, then once more space to select the display option and finally one down and space to select the other display..

Kinds feels like entering a cheat code... Might feel strange, but might as well try

Also verify that Dx11 is installed, since it is required

I made a list of things to check

    - Run steam and the game as admin ( game location: "<em style="line-height: 20.7999992370605px;">C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\MedievalEngineers\Bin"</em> or <em style="line-height: 20.7999992370605px;">Bin64</em> for 64 bit system, and run the file: MedievalEngineers.exe as admin)
    - Verify game files in steam
    - Reinstall game ( good idea to delete both in steam and the ME folder, to avoid leftover corrupt files)
    - Check that firewall/antivirus is not blocking ME
    - Check for driver updates
    - Upload your log here, for the experts to dissect
    - Delete/Move save/config folder ( "C:/users/"username"/documents/appdata/roaming/medieval engineers" )
