Creative mod. Recurring bug and multiple game crash using timbers

    Hi,

    I am busy building another crazy world with ME but i have a pretty annoying recurring bug using timbers. My world being almost 100% wood based i have used a lot of timbers here or there but now each time i try to do a line of say, more than 20/30 pieces of wood at once, using ctrl or ctrl+shift the game crashes systematically. It looks as if i have reached a sort of limit using them (rounds or squares ones, same thing). It closes down the game and kicks me back at windows. Makes me lose a lot of time to be honest as to relaunch and reload is pretty slow aside from the fact it won't let me finish this world as i d like to and i have spent +100 hours on it already.

    Again it's a "steady" bug. I might have had about 30+ crashes during the past days so i started doing other things around but i still need to be able to use timbers in a normal way. I highly suspect this to be related to a max number of timbers blocks in used as this bug was not showing during the first hours. After this limit is reached, it looks like the game engine turns nuts. Black screen, closing down. before i even release the mouse button to create the line of blocks. I had the same crash trying to copy/paste buildings or structures made of timbers. The game crashes when i try to past them.

    Additional problem : aside i have noticed that the E key is now deleting blocks when i have a block handy. Say i hit E by accident as it's normally a key i used to use to rotate blocks and then it's just deleting the block that stands below without me hitting any mouse button. Don't know if this only happens with wood but happens for sure. It's sort of confusing to have an Erase/Delete features poping out on a key that is also used to manipulate blocks.

    Hi,

    can you send me you world/save? I was just messing around with Timber (like 20.000 timber 10 on the map), but no crash for me. And that another problem with E, I send it to our programmers to look at it.

    Along the way, if you have time for that, please go walk into the big dungeon on top of the hill and climb the stairs (not in fly mod). It's totally made with timbers, not any single piece of wall nore wood or stone. That might help you check the limits of "collision detection" with such material, as the avatar goes through the wall very often while climbing the stairs. I know timbers haven't been made for that but it's a good "torture test" to check this aspect. Overall on the realistic side of the thing, they are supposed to be solid and actually they look to be solid in a very relative way. It could be nice to look into this but again if you have time :) Looking forward to be able to finish this world

    Hi,

    I was testing it and it crashed for me after building tower with 2.000 timbers. I send it to programmers to look at it. And for that problem with collision, I did not have a problem with that. But I send it to them to look at it, maybe they will be lucky.

    Hi there,

    Over a month and a half after and this bug keeps showing. Very annoying to be honest. Over a certain number of woods timber and then the game crashed when you use ctrl to draw a line of them. This is recurring and systematic.
    I can't see why the number of timbers should be limited. It's like limiting the number of stone walls.

    To be more specific i should add that only the ctrl key to create varius timbers lines at once makes it crash, the one by one feature still seem steady

    New graphical card with 8 gig Ram, i even updated my normal ram up to 24 gigabytes and the bugs is still showing. I just reproduiced it.
    Could you please fix it?
