the Celeris is really pretty.

So your engines are blueprints? They aren't mods?

 

Yes they are built engines with different blocks. Its more like a module that you can use in your ship. It has is own power system and gyroscopes.

Those are some nice engines. Immediately my brain saw "BMW" because of how sexy they where.

From what i learned with the last few ships i came up with this last one. I thinked it for a planetary first recognition with the ability to take of from it with a dual turbine system.

Absolutely stellar work, as always. I'll keep muddling along with my own creations, of course, but I think we all know who's won Space Engineers, haha!

If only there was a stable way to allow the turbines to rotate - having them transition from a VTOL position to horizontal flight mode would look killer.

 

Yea, honestly... we should probably all just quit now... Dudes killing it with these ships.

No buddy don't quit! i was the same a time ago when i looked stuff at the workshop but with time and playing arround with the game everyone can improve their skills

btw guys take a look at the amazing spotlight that Tartaross made of the last ship!

 

Wow, there's some seriously impressive work here and the presentation is spot on!

 

To emphasise this, just take a look back at the Workshop of GEC or any of the guys who create amazing ships. You can usually see their progression from early flat boxes to better shapes and finally ships like these with the fine details we all love. It's just a matter of practice and learning from what other people have been doing. As much as I envy GEC's newest line of ships, their detailing has taught me a lot already and I've been experimenting more thanks to them!

 

Oh I promise you guys I'm not going to quit. I was making a joke. I'm absolutely blown away by GEC's designs. But I wouldn't just abandon all of the progress I've made with CDI. I started with boring blocks that almost travelled successfully through space. And I've evolved and learned to design some ships that I'm very proud of. I've even helped a few people design their successful ships and aided in interior design for people.

I have however learned a lot from his designs and have started playing with large small ship designs. Which up until recently I've never even thought about doing.

I'm excited to see what you do next man.

I have enjoyed checking out all your ships. Your ships inspired me to try and create something along the same lines as your Celeris. Your designs are amazing. If you have time and don't mind I would appreciate any suggestions you might have in improving my Ship.

your ships look absolutely amazing, but one problem with these things is that they almost HAVE to use mods to get a satisfying interior and good acceleration. I personally like to always build my ships completely stock, so I never make anything with an interior(not that I would have the patience to build such a large ship anyways).

Thats right this is like everything that requires creativity its a learning curve. And thanks to the workshop we can know of what are all our buddys doing and we can feed us with that inspiration and raise the bar for ourselves.

I'll check it this weekend that i think i will have a little bit more free time.

I think its more like a prefference other than a problem. I used to be that way with mods and when i tried them they grew up on me pretty damn quickly. Now on days i feel like mods are a pretty big part of game comunity and creative oriented games like Space Engineers.

Well guys i've been super busy last week and this one with work and i could't deliver a big small ship but i tinkered with this small ship the pass weekend so hopefully you will forgive me! i almost didn't uploaded it but here we go anyways..

Why is it that whenever I see the GEC thread pop up i feel simultaneous dismay and elation? Love your builds man.

Well that's easy...at least for me it's because his designs are amazing and I know that I can't get mine to look that amazing

 

Guys thanks for your comments. But right now im a little bit sad. Because Valkaláh is uncomplete. A mod author has removed his mod from the workshop and i realy don´t know why. If anybody knows who is the author of "Ship Fan" it would be great to know whats happend and why he did that.
Is the fan blades that you can see on the wheels.
A bunch of you might have upleaded ships with that mod on the workshop that now will be uncomplete too.
