When I try to play Medieval Engineers, it freezes my computer. The menu is fine, but once a world is loading it is fine for a minute and then just freezes, and stays frozen until I shut my PC down by holding down the power button for a minute.

Once or twice it made it into a level, but both times froze me the same way after a few minutes.

My computer is not amazing but no other game does this to me.

This happens even at the lowest settings.

I am not sure what would even be the first step to take to try and fix this, if its something wrong on my end, or a bug with the game. Any input would be appreciated.

    Out of 7 Tests:

    1 time there was buzz
4 times the sound kept playing just fine, but the image was completely frozen, no ctrl+alt_del or anything would work
2 times the pc restarted itself completely.

Your graphics card is overheating. Most cards have a cutoff switch at 90-100 degrees. Yours in that log is 78- so easily I could see it reaching the limits. Try enabling vertical sync so your frames don't burn your card and or lower your graphics and monitor temperatures

Even with all settings as ideal as possible the game freezes. Speccy read 81 degrees at time of crash.

Guess I will need new graphics card.

    Thanks for your help!

Could be a faulty temperature sensor on one of any of your hardwares. Has it done this with another demanding game that would crank the temperature up?

Nope. Every other game I've played has been fine. The worst I'd get is some low framerates on things like modded minecraft or skyrim. Space engineers works fine as well.

M.E. is the first game to crash me.

Odd case indeed. Sorry I coulndt be more helpfull. The only times I've had similar problems is with my old gt 570 overheating aaand a Radeon - can't rember the model had a faulty bios and would freeze up and reset the pc. Good luck sir

Is your desktop/laptop full of dust? If so, clean it with bottled air.

    That should help with overheating.
