Hey. I couldn't find others that had suggested it, so here it is. :)

Mine-cart's for transportation ores from the mine, where you can attach a rope to the end of it, so it can be pulled to the entrance of the mine.

From the videos showing how construction works for siege weapons I think we build the carts and wagons ourselves.

Yeah, well be having some kind of unpowered vehicles to transport resources, but I dont know if well be able to make rails of any kind.

Of course you can make rails yourself, but if they dont design with rails in mind, theyll be laggy/glitchy/limited.

So it would be nice if you could manufacture rails as actual objects in some workshop (and assemble the tracks from such rail pieces). Parameters should be adjustable (track width, lenght of the rail piece, angle for curves...)

The actual minecarts would be custom build still, probably with wheels designed to work well with rails.

For now without seeing how the wheels function in game I could see putting wooden beams down on the inside of the wheel base and use them as guides to keep carts on a path.

Looking at how those box gears work, I can see building a wind (or hand) powered vehicle. Which begs the question if wind will be constant, omnidirectional, or dynamic...

They cloud have like a blueprint of a minecart, which would match the rails. Another way for transporting ores, cloud be to lay down wooden beams following the shaft and then then put beams along the side, so it would be a chute. Where a box cloud be pulled along and not hop of because of the beams at the side.

I think it would be cool if they had Pre-made carts for Pre-made rails. we could attach a rope to it and attach the rope to a pulley and haul stuff out of our mines like that.

A working pulley system is going to be a must in this game as they are a huge part of ye'oldie engineering.

I imagine you could make a complex system of carts and pulleys that pull the cart in a straight line then dumps its contents to the next cart and changes direction. It may also be possible to build some form of conveyor belt to just move things for you.

If this is possible where you build your own cart, I'm making a winch powered train. Rails need implementation.

Rails, BAH! You and your technology ^_-

All you need is a wood pallet, some logs, and maybe some rope to make it easy. Then you can upgrade to a box! Then one day you can put wheels on the box!

    Then...

I WILL RIDE IN THE BOX!!!
