So like many of my fellow engineers out there, i have been creating self-propelled vehicles using the in game rotor. Sadly however not only is the current rotor a monolith in size, more importantly it is a time bomb, due to the way in which it does not actually connect to the vehicle. I have had a few of them blow themselves apart, usually while i was attempting to fasten down the rotor, which by the way i don't recommend. It has a massive jumping fit with enough force to tear things up quickly... (hmm wonder if i can make that a siege weapon ) Anyway The Idea for this "Lockable Rotor Drum" is to make the rope part of the current lockable drum spin like the rotor does. This would make it attachable to vehicles, reduce its size, increase its stability, and allow the engine to be parked so it doesn't make vehicles move when you want them to stop.
