Title says it all, lets get a list going of all the different base items that would be great to see in a steampunk mod. I'll start us off:

    • Boiler systems (including piping)
    • Steam actuated pistons
    • Steam actuated rotors
    • Metal gear systems
    • Springs
    • Rail systems

What else would you like to see in a steampunk mod?

Oh god. . . pistons and rotors. Have fun reducing the entire kingdom to ashes. xP

    Seriously, though, cool ideas!

I mentioned this elsewhere, but there is probably enough demand and support for steampunk mod items that this could easily be a large group project. You could keep busy forever making decorative elements alone!
    • Brass accoutrements (tables, chairs, oil lamps, pipes and valves for days)
    • Custom character models.
    • Steampunk weapons.
    • Interior walls and floors (fancy red carpets, floor grates, copper plated walls, wooden walls with glass portholes and brass accents, etc.)

Steam Generator, fulfills the same function as a large windmill but is much smaller. Powered by coal, obviously.

    +10

Remember though it needs to be true steam punk. not just gluing some gears on it and calling it steampunk in fact there is a video/song for it. It serves as a what not to do when making steam punk things.

A huge +1 for the idea. I would love to see some kind of true SP mods out there.

+ 1 for this. My folks are steampunkers and in fact my Dad makes his own steampunk gear. Hes got all sorts of weaponry and gadgets. He even sells custom made goggles on etsy. Haha :woot:

I hope you enjoy this first model. I hope for constructive criticism.
Perhaps there can also result in a collaboration here.

But now I must first play medieval engineers !!!
