ModSDK from steam

    I downloaded the ME mod sdk from steam and it seams to be missing all of the tools.
    I see tutorials using tools that are not in the sdk. Am I doing domething wrong?

    convert_all.py doesn't exist in current version.
    and no texturetool

    All I find is D3DFMT_R16F which appears to be half-float; but no information on what the range of values is supposed to be; I've scaled my generator to all sorts of possible values but no joy; my maps all appear to be flat.

    when I use D3DFMT_G16R16 or D3DFMT_A16B16G16R16 the game runs my system out of memory. (non float but 16 bit; since the dwRBitmask is only a DWORD I don't see how to set that.

    But then I want technical answers and noone technical seems to respond... would have liked to the convert_all.py to figure out what they were generating; apparently nothing other than photoshop even has an option for outputting R16 :/
