Curs0r is putting it game as we speak. In game pics coming right up!

I haven't forgot about my window pack and I will be continuing to work on those as well.

Could you walk on it because of the collision box?

    Look nearly perfect for me.

Looks very professional. Great models. Are you going to be making your models available for download in the game?

You can walk on it, for now you'll have a hard time walking under it if you don't have a block worth of extra clearance overhead.

Thanks! And yes we will be making these available to the public for download. We are just ironing out all the kinks and working out a delivery method. We're setting up an official modding forum and website for easy mod shopping. :)

Ah, ok, it didn't work like the Plate that is already in the game. Good Idea to make it that way. ^^

OMG. More awesome work is surfacing so fast! The texture looks sweet.

Looking forward to both the catwalk and the windows. Keep it up!

Thanks man! I'm making one of those built into the wall type double bunk beds right now. Should be ready by tonight or tomorrow! I'll make a new post once ready.

I plan on doing a whole set of furniture and functional space living items. you'll be able to decorate the crap out of your ships and make them feel like home! Stay tuned!

Super excited for this direction you're heading in. I experimented with getting some kind of 'conference table' in game, and I got it working, but wasn't too happy with how it looked. it was just a simple model however, I never got to texturing it, and I was having some issues with its alignment. Mind you this was day 1 modding came out, and I was in quite a rush :p

May I suggest using a single thread for all your future releases It'd be easier to view on our end, and easier to manage on your end. Something like RedPheonix's model thread I think would be good

You make me want to re-install 3D Studio Max!
(Though, I wouldn't be able to create anything as nice as this!)
Looking forward to seeing your models in-game.
    Awesome work!

Since Suge said screens were coming up and didn't post them (my fault I got him sidetracked) I figured I should post a few:

Incidentally, have you tried making a gravity transit tube system? It's crazy fun so get your fill before they add impact damage hehe.

    Or, how about this:

I apologize for the resolution of these shots. A new PC is in my future.

And because I have to make sure everyone gets a good close-up:

If I were into making terrible puns I'd say Suge's modeling is "pretty grate". Good thing I'm not into doing that.

can you make 2 variations of this one with a single guardrail and one with a double guardrail??

i made a similar suggestion for the pre-existing catwalk

I really love the modelling, however i have one personal gripe... i just feel its "too" textured for the current in game blocks. maybe it could be slightly more subtle? This might fit in perfectly if/when the devs decided to change the models / textures currently in game howerver

So for right now all that will happen is the guardrails wont stop you from falling off the sides, but I'll look into doing a couple guardrail versions for you guys anyway.</td></tr><tr><td align="center" colspan="2" valign="bottom">Loading...</td></tr></tbody></table>

Vector Wolf had made a great suggestion in another thread. Maybe you should his idea with your graphics combine.

My personal gripe was that game itself felt rather untextured. I wanted to spruce it up a bit. So I guess it just boils down to opinion. We aren't necessarily trying to add content to the game to match what is currently there, otherwise I'd just not bother texturing at all as many of the vanilla parts have just 2 tones of solid grey for their textures.

Once we have more of our parts in game things will begin to appear more consistent. We might even retexture the existing parts to match our style.

Fair enough :) we will have to wait and see how it pans out down the line, being alpha and all. Either way, cant knock your modelling or texturing well done :)
