    "Paladin" Heavy Gunship

I tend to lose focus and stray away from my main project and begin starting on smaller scaled builds to add to my
fleet, my first time straying away i ended up with the Maelstrom, a small Stealth Assault Ship which can be found in
GeneralApathy's post "Share your small craft!" whicih can be found in the Link provided below, and now i have the
    Paladin, a Heavy Gunship

    https://forums.keenswh.com/post/share-your-small-craft-6605515?&trail=90

Related to that post, i'm going to use the same description format as that topic with a little variation.

    - General Information
    [IMG]

    - Intended purpose: Transporting a variety of Cargo/Equipment/Small Ships and Infantry back and forth between the battlefield or safe open space.
    - Works best with: Small Escort Ships/Search & Rescue Ships/Carriers/Destroyers
    - Works best in: Transportation/Carrying Cargo/Dropping off smaller ships, equipment, infantry into the battlefield/Assisting in Search & Rescue operations
    - Works best as: Gunship/Cargo Ship/Infantry Transport

The entire ship is painted white to be able to see her exterior architecture better (i'm not a fan of completely flat paneling)
so i make sure i give it as much detail as i can, as i do with my other projects.

    - Another sneak peek at my main project that i keep straying away from, with my ladies dressed in black parting away for an operation.

Criticism would be appreciated if there is anything that doesn't appeal to you! I'll see you later, till my next post, Orio out!

I really like the design of this ship! The rear engine configuration is gorgeous, and I love the creative placement of the side and vertical thrusters. The side pods are an awesome touch, too. :)
Ironically, the only criticism I have is that there's not enough flat surfaces. :woot: The ridges are definitely cool in some places (like the sides of the rear section), but maybe there's room for a little less elsewhere?

I find it hard to be satisfied with flat surfaces honestly :woot: i mean, i don't mind them but it just bugs me when there's too much of it, and yes i do agree that there is a bit much and it can be toned down a bit but once i start with the details i tend to not stop until my appetite is fulfilled, i guess it's just my style then! i can maybe try building something without as much detailing and see how it'll go haha, but thanks for your input!

Yea you greebled the @%*$ outta this ship. Looks good tho! For a "heavy gunship", I was expecting more firepower though.

Any chance we can get you to copy/paste it to a new (Non TOP-SECRET) save and workshop that for us? I really wanna fly it.

Indeed, well shaped. Hull plates alone serves as camo.

Yee gods, wouldn't take much to make that thing look like it had Dazzle camouflage painted on it. Love the design work, it's a very artistic.

Apologies for the late reply, Holiday has been keeping me busy, as well as my main project (which i will be unveiling shortly after this reply). I will upload both the Paladin and a few Variants of the Maelstrom into an empty world here soon for you to fly it yourself, as well as for everyone else, my main objective was to satisfy my exterior aesthetics so i wasn't really able to make sure it flies well, but i made sure that it did function well ( i have no idea what i just said there ).
