    Well, Im not quite sure about the turrets. They became quit hard to UV-unwrap and texture...
    Maybe I will do another one in the same kind of style, but a lot easier to unwrap.

    Red - sorry for being a bit late in the thread, but the shell you posted on pages 2-5 resembles a 155mm caseless explosive shell, similar to the French artillery shells (example of its use on the CAESAR:

    You'll notice that in the first step, one personnel loads the shell on the rack, which is mechanically inserted into the cannon, and another personnel adds a cylindrical 'charge'. The charge itself is the explosive propellent (comes in explosive charges of Charge 1 through 7, the higher the charge, the longer the range), and once it fires, the entire charge is consumed, and thus there are no brass casing or any of that sort that is ejected from the rifled howitzer.

    So technically, if you use the shell you designed already (ie caseless artillery shell), then you'll have no need for the cases to be ejected from the turret, otherwise you'd have to use a cased explosive shell similar to the US 105mm.

    The turret designs are really quite fantastic, and I love how you made them modular to acquire different weapon types.

    Well. Its random modding.

    So I thought I post some pictures of a simple moddel I made for training purposes.
    It's nothing special, just a simple dagger. But it's a good model to practice the use of maps.

    A lot of stuff is just rendered via the Nvidia Plugin onto the Normal Map, like the Ivys or the Dragon letters.
    Never worked with those maps before. Looks quite awesome if you ask me.

    But, still have a lot to do. The Diffuse map is way to similar. It needs some distortion!

    Nice sword, ive never made anything from scratch. Did make a helmet for skyrim out the exsisting iron helm and anicent nord helm. Also never bothered with textures, not quite that artistic.

    Perhaps add a tiny block below it with a little door to hold ammo?

    Kinda like the Gatling Turrets

    Looks good. Logical.

    Depending on the size, that is what...200mm barrel? Would put the explosive force about the same as the current missiles...or maybe a bit less, but not by too much.
