    When you need really compact, that's about all you can get it down too. ;)

    Yep, I would imagine there are many that look very similar, compact is good for a fighter after all. ;)

    Well my compact fighter was modeled after the navskids from code lyoko as I thought they were really cool when I watched the show as a kid. In fact when I saw darth biomechs cockpit, that was the first thing that popped in my head to build as it was the perfect shape.

    Yeah, I have no idea what he based his off, if anything. they were not much more than a cockpit with thrusters and a bit of armour.

    That's My Dragonfly Welder on the left, at the back is the Dragonfly Grinder and on the right with the drills is my Discovery Lite. Also the large ship in the background you can barely see is my slightly larger drone miner.

    Time for Gladiator class bomber!
    A complex ship made for rocket hell creation. Has one side covered in rocket launchers and welders and protected with gates.
    Bullets deal no damage to it's systems form the shielded side. The opposite side is covered by turrets for real bullet hell and missile attack stopping.
    The insides of the vessel are filled with complex net-type conveyor system that keeps working even after severe damage(up to 75% of destroyed
    internals).
    Insides also include:
    gravity shields - for gravity-based weapon jamming(gravity cannons)
    self-repairing tripled power core - covers all needs in power and repairs itself in case of damage.
    self-supporting turret modules - you break off one module and you get a self-supported turret that still works. While still in contact with base produces additional power.
    tripled control modules - in case of control room destruction you have 5 more to work with.
    decentralized storage system - you destroy 1 storage, but the ship has 40 more!!(!!!)

    All in all looks like it is one of the most surviving ships.

    Features:

    I like that entire ship @DyMoX, and having recently played the Homefront mod on Homeworld I'm oddly reminded of the Tigershark corvette (It looks different though)

    The scenario is so fun!!... I ended up putting heavy armor over the top of the cockpit as well because it kept getting shot out :woot:

    Those freaking little drones... one of them rammed me hahaha..

    Battlecruiser Project requiring new loving home. House trained but requires plenty of RAM to fly around around in as very large.

    Shipbuilder finally ran out of steam and unable tofind time or motivation to finish, Ideal for team based project. Exterior mostly complete, needing a touch of paint. Interior semi laid out, requiring renovation.

    Mass: 83,273,768kg [+]
    Engines: 217 Thrusters [7 Titan Thrusters]
    Firepower: Awesome, though would benefit from a front mounted mass driver/torpedo launcher.

    Mods Used: Titan Engine by Darth Biomech (cause otherwise she wouldn't move)
    MWI - Main Battleship Cannon Mk3 by Mexpex


    Other: Includes CIC + Navigation bridge and observation deck. Space to equip escape pods.
    One Medium Sized Hanger/Cargo Deck, able to hold 1 squadron of fighters + Gunship/dropship.
    Conveyor system in place.

    Current Status: Mothballed - Open for Public Use.

    Since I haven't posted in a while I have two for you today. I decided to go back and update the stock ship again and add all the new bells and wistles we've gotten since the last time I update somethings.

    (HGI) Mining Transport (S) v.2

    Here we have a mining transport. I redid the docking collar, eliminating 2 landing gear and added a camera. Also added 2 large cargo containers, and added 4 oxygen tanks. To accommodate the air vent and to ensure I had room for a basic airlock, the cabin had been extended. And with the extra room I threw in 4 batteries (no more Power Overloads) and added a medical bay and a gravity generator. And while I was at it I added a Gatling Turret to the ventral section (ship is no longer easy to pirate). All in all I think it turned out quite well.

    And while I was updating the mining transport I started fooling around and see if i could increase the ship cargo complicity, and I came up with this configuration. I also took the liberty of moving the primary antenna, and adding a laser antenna. This thing make a great cargo ship.

    It's a small refinery Ship you could use as a Mothership for a small Mining Drone or something else. It has full Oxygen Support, an functioning Airlock and even a Hangar Bay! It may not look like much but maybe you will be suprised when you see the Hangar bay ;) No Mod's used on this one becouse i prefer to build vanilla stuff :3

    Not quite happy with the Deflector Dish yet. Not showing the top side because it's ripped open for Interior Deck design purposes.

    The Deflector Dish Assembly needs another pass, unfortunately. I've never gotten that one right.

    an update to my shipyard that's an ongoing WIP. as it stands it has 296 spot lamps running on extreme graphics settings. and im getting playable FPS on it.

    next will be an additional docking bay like the one on the left.
    inside the bays are:
    Large lower bay:
    a highly modified Blue ship at the back,
    one the left is a High-liner containerized Cargo ship capable fo carrying 12 separate cargo pods
    on the right is a Humpback class Mobile Mining Rig/Refinery
    lower front is a

    the right hand bay on top has
    Infront is a DSE Willie class heavy intra-system tugboat front middle
    behind is a Mole class Tunnel borer
