    Hello Engineers,

Following the 0.7 release (Major Overhaul of Audio, Visuals and Blocks) and Space Engineers launching out of Early Access, the SE and ME teams merged into one unified Keen Software House team. Additionally, you may have noticed fewer Medieval Engineers updates as we focused on important tasks for Space Engineers. Do not worry, Medieval Engineers is not abandoned; there are still plans for Medieval Engineers, and in the near future Keen Software House will continue to work on the game.

Now, the plan has been set internally how Keen Software House will continue Medieval Engineers development, and so my help is no longer needed. With that in mind, I have decided to leave the company and pursue new opportunities. For those who wish to see what I will do next, you can follow me on twitter: https://twitter.com/DeepflameNL

Working here in Prague for Keen Software House has been a great experience, I have learned much during my stay here. Marek is an exceptional man with a strong idea of what the games we are working on should feel like; it was inspiring to have the chance to work with him.

I would like to thank you all for the wonderful times we shared, shaping the direction of Medieval Engineers. We have shared so many wonderful memories, such as Castle Sieges, and the Grand Melee Tournament. The work you have put into beautiful, clever creations, amazing mods, and stories told on Discord and the forum has never stopped to amaze me. Truly, the Medieval Engineers community is a fantastic place and I feel honored having been part of this.

Finally, Marek wanted to say a short message as well:
“I greatly enjoyed working with Tim, through our many discussions I learned a lot about leadership and game design, and this has helped us raise the quality of our games both now and in the future. I wish him the best of luck with his future plans.”

    Best,

    Tim ‘Deepflame’ Toxopeus
    Project Lead Medieval Engineers

    P.S.
For those attending the open day in Prague, the 25th of May, I will still be there! Come say hello!
