    Hallo,

first some Info's what i have:

    Root Server:
    • Intel Core I7
    • 32Gb Ram
    • Windows 2012 R2
    • directly connected to Internet with IP-Number 89.163.xxx.xxx
    • second IP-Number on the same Networkcard 10.14.xxx.xxx for VPN to administrate the Server
    • .net 4.6.2 installed
    • admin rights
    • incomming Firewall Rule for Port 27017
    Client:
    • For testing i used two PC's, one at home, one at work. From both clients i can connect to other SpaceEngineers Servers

I used a Steam64 group ID and the Server shows up in the SpaceEngineers Server List. So i can try to connect.
From both clients i can't connect to my dedicated Server and get the Message "The Server Host has left the game".
On the Server side it shows on the console (local game, not as a service) "Peer2Peer_connectionFailed MYSTEAMID" (MYSTEAMID = my Steam-ID :))
The Server didn't crashed i think because he did an autosave 8 minutes later.

The connection_log looks like (is from today after testing)
    What i try/did:
Hopefully i didn't miss any Infos and someone can provide any help.

    Thanks in advance
    Matthias

That's the problem, because unfortunately the game cannot be bound to a specific network interface. Many have tried, and complained to Keen, for a long time, but I'm not aware of any current solution to this. The server will not reliably or correctly function with multiple network connections :/

One of I think several relevant bug report thread (with no response from Keen) https://forum.keenswh.com/threads/a...le-nic-cards-incorrectly-prioritized.6963000/

can you post up the the server cfg file its in the hidden app data folder/spaceengineers/(instancename)

Also you do know by using the steam group id you are restricting your server to only let people who are a member of that group able to connect anyway add me on steam see if i can get you going https://steamcommunity.com/id/lordmuttly/

oh and try opening port 8766

Hello and thx for the information. I removed the second IP from the networkcard and the problem was solved :tu:
Didn'r saw this as a problem because the server and the logs shows the right Internet IP for the SE server.

    Port 8766 was open before
