    OK,
    I have a geforce GT 430 (old, i know) with 1024 megs of DDR3 and 550mhz.

My days of keeping up with specs are long gone. Basically, im wondering if anyone can point me to a newer geforce card in the 40-70 dollar price range that would be decent for games like space/midevil engineers. I dont think there is any point in spending a lot of money, as my CPU and ram are limited as well (2.7ghz, 7gigs ram)

There are soo many geforce cards, it is hard to tell which are better than mine and would be decent for gaming.

Your processor may be the more limiting factor depending on how much power it has.

I don't think you have many options within that price range. Maybe a Geforce 750ti or a Radeon R7 250? Both won't be super powerful, but much better than the 430 you have. Might run you a bit more money though, about $ 90-100?

If you have a quadcore cpu, it won't be limiting these cards. Until yesterday, I was running Space Engineers on a core 2 duo 3ghz with a radeon hd7750 and it was running quite well at low settings (unless I built really big).

    Hi,
I play this game without problems on Lenovo Y550 Laptop:
    • Intel Core 2 Duo P7450 (2.13GHz)
    • 4GB DDR3 SDRAM (1066MHz)
    • nVidia GT 130M 512MB
Getting around 20-30 fps I know that its low but its 5 yo laptop and still can play.

I get by on an AMD A8 4500M 1.9 Ghz quad core
Radeon mobility 7640G + 7670M dual graphics with 1Gb dedicated VRAM (only reason I can play games on this thing)
8GB system RAM and a stupidly slow 750GB hard drive

large ships make it cry, but past that it runs alright.

I play on my 4,5 years old Notebook.
    Intel i5 430M (2,26-2.53 GHz)
ATI Mobility Radeon HD5850 1GB (2650 mb deticated)
    4 GB Ram
I got 20-60 FPS, its based on the polycount of the ship. 2 Ships wit 300000 Triangles are not so bad like one with 600000. I dont know why.
After 1,5 Million Triangles i have 6 FPS. 1,5 Million or 3 Million triangles doesent matter i got 6 FPS.
Would like to see what other people get.
