Are pistons getting force sliders? no more infinite oomph? no more strange phantom forces (would like to see this done on an non anchored grid in zero g)?
i might squee. im holding it in, dont want to prematurely squee.
    --- Automerge ---
that would also be squee worthy in my opinion.

maybe pistons that have a strength level so they don't go all hulk and punch a hole through any wall they touch.
    or they have tamed clang.....ha

Maybe major update stabilizes physics enough to allow proper usage of rotors and pistons in multiplayer?
Maybe we will finally get mech wars?:clang:

Hype trains estimated time of arrival is 36 hours.
    Community waits
    Will SE see valor?
    We are not in military
    But next update is major?

I gave-up on the handbrake and just setup all the wheels in a group and add that to my toolbar to toggle the safety on/off.

    yes.
toggle the safety on/off is great for when you're parking on a slight slope...since the handbrake is pretty useless when it comes to parking on hills even for a moment the thing will roll down the side of even a gentle slope.
i remember even constructing an ugly scorpion style tail on my rover so i could attach a landing gear to anchor it.
I laughed as i could instantly go to 0 m/s by locking the landing gear....i could only imagine the whip lash the engineer felt. but then of course the one time i needed it....it broken off. :p

as for using the safety lock for breaking.....i wouldn't recommend it...it seems to slide a lot longer.
so i'd say handbrake for slowing down safety lock as a sort of parking mode

If each arc furnace would only take one ore type at a time and the arcs for each ore type processed as described, it could work.

What if some ark furnaces are in different conveyor network on the same grid, or there is sorter block blocking few furnaces from taking some type of ore?

I can't stress this enough - @Xocliw that kind of stuff needs at least a good week or two announcing it before, not two days. (I know you're not doing the forums, but you are the CM. Call me if you need help Keepo) And not on top of the forums where most people forget that we even have stickies, and besides, nobody ever reads stickies. @Drui We have this nifty pop up that goes live for strems, this should have been active for at least a week now.
Instead we got three of Marek's... charitably labelled "teasers".

It will be so small for our hope(?).
But if it will be homing missle as single block, but without scripts... it will so cool!

"That new turret" is a mod that was put on an image given them in the screenshot competition.

    Sorry folks, no new turrets.

Oddly enough I've done the same thing. I replaced my handbrakes with... piston jacks for my wheeled vehicles. It works so much better it's silly. So silly that I've designed my rovers so I can jump into them and work under them with the piston jacks extended. My rovers look like the starving lamborghini's mutant children, but they work well. so :stare:

Modders asked for the ability to create opaque cloud layers, particularly for the sake of creating gas giants, and the devs had promised to add that feature. Rexxar passed on recently that they were finally about to implement it.

It sounds like the devs are going beyond that. I'd suggested that they add gas giants with hydrogen atmospheres, so I'm pleased. I'm not sure whether this means that gas giants will be added to the game, or whether they'll just make it easy for modders to do it. As things stand, Doctor Octoganapus has done great work, so I'm looking forward to the results either way.
