Update 0.4.12 - It's Not A Buck, It's A Feature!

    Summary
    Hello, Engineers! This week we are adding more life to the planet with the introduction of the buck. The buck is the male counterpart of our doe, completing the set of deer on our planet. You can hunt the buck for his antlers to use as a decoration. We also updated the crafting table, it now looks more like a crafting table. The old table is still available as a Simple Table. Finally, we made building a little easier with the wooden mallet, we felt that it was a little too harsh.



    Features
    - Added the buck.
    - Added deer plaque.
    - Updated crafting table model, it now looks like a crafting table.
    - Added a new table called Simple Table, which uses the old crafting table model.

    Fixes
    - Increased efficiency and slightly increased durability for wooden mallet.
    - Decreased build time of wooden blocks.

    ME Update 0.4.12.95317:
    - Fixed a crash when placing a cube in a world that did not have the quest system activated. These were usually legacy worlds.

    Nice update guys! Was always a little annoyed by the fact the crafting table seemed a tad out of place around the other cool models you guys made. Nice to see that little quality of life improvement. :)

    Now to go hunt me some bucks! =D

    I read added deer plague instead of added deer plaque. I was worried that we either get diseased deer which would be an odd feature or massive amounts of deer which is actually already ingame. My friend has a survival world where his house was surrounded by deer he even has 3 deer inside of his house. He got killed by them a couple of times. :D

    Also that teaser, is that a tools/weapons rack?

    tfw having a dead served deer head on display is ok
    but having a dead served human head on display makes me a psycho
    double-standards like.....

    Would be something if, a long time from now, antler size was variable, and related to proximity with player claimed areas. Have to go on hunting trips to bag a big one...

    That's either a weapon/tool rack or a step-stool so that we can build roofs without extensive scaffolding. The fixes look great.

    Can the stone axe get a small buff in mining time? The wooden mallet is quicker for some reason (4 hits vs 5.)

    The deer are wolves in disguise.

    Could be as straightforward as being able to add and retrieve weapons without accessing an inventory. That would be pretty cool.

    A few months ago I suggested that weapon racks could serve as respawn points for NPC guards. When the rack is destroyed, that NPC can not longer spawn. It would be a way to defend an area from attack when offline.

    Hmm. Sounds like here we would have to explain the 'birds and bees' stuff a little closer...
    Deer when in heat do a little intensified communication... and it isn't about the weather report... so be prepared for the concert. If you listen to what cats are doing sometimes at night, you get on the right track. ;)

    I think our Cardinals got inspired by Stori 3D's Roman armory mod. Right so.
