Update 01.011 - Warheads

    Update 01.011.006 has been released. We have implemented the small and large warhead blocks. Warhead blocks, can be used in order to create torpedoes and bombs, dig tunnels and create mine fields. Warheads explode on contact or when damaged.

    Features
    - added small and large warhead blocks
    - added warhead explosion on impact

    Fixes
    - fixed snapping of pasted stations
    - fixed torque unit; unit is in Nm and its multiples
    - removed zoom sound
    - fixed automatic rifle sound

    Looks great, excellent update!

    I would hope though that the large warheads will be very costly to produce, since they seem quite powerful.

    Oh freak yeah. Though, I think the large warheads have a bit too much of an explosion radius. One hit and half the red ship is gone? I'm thinking it needs to be revisited. Good thing it's alpha!

    Now you can destroy your own builded Ship even faster. ;)

    I hope this Blocks could we build in Survival only very hardly or it will be a bit too heavy. ^^

    It was freaking crazy powerful. The big advantage is that in multiplayer it's a dumb fire weapon. If it was guided then it would be crazy. Looks like a great station killer, but large ships should be able to dodge large torpedoes, the small ones will work great against Capitol ships though. Dart in, drop a pair, then haul tail away from there.

    Hello!
    The pacth is awesome, but i have some problems...
    It seems i can not place block on rotors and a lot if times on other blocks, cause on the motors is like there is no space to place, and the plock simply are not "recognised" i pass trought them...
    also now, ehan i copy an object, the "to paste" vesrion of the object is no more moving "free" but it move like whan you are placing a block on a surface, like it is into a grid...
    Am i the only one with this problem?

    Indeed.
    It doesn't matter how thick the armor on a heavy warship is, those large warheads just disintegrate armor blocks in a 17x17x17m.

    Wish the warhead blocks where affected by grav generators like rocks are... Then rail guns would be even more awesome! lol

    Just found if you make a missile or just a floating warhead, copy then when you paste it flick your mouse and click. If you do it right you'll see it fly off.

    The damage is quite impressive.
    • As far as I know we only have "light armor" blocks and I hope to be given something "heavier" to defend against it.
    • It is likely going to be extremely challenging to fire this and hit a moving target being controlled by another player.
    • Hopefully the blast radius will be brought down since most structures I'm building don't have massive corridors, this type of attack appears to demolish a base in moments.

    yea i'm still gona drill my tunnels lol the explosion from the large warhead makes a tunnel too big and the small warhead doesn't do any noticeable thing to a roid lol... but making my junkyard world just got easier =) gathering community made ships and destroying them and stopping their movement(except rotation) to create a space bone yard for visuals..
