Update 01.035 - Transmit electricity through rotors, new world settings

    Summary
    Electricity is now being transmitted through rotors (inter-grid electricity and communications relaying). We've also added new world settings (automatic trash removal, limit world’s size) that will help players to manage the increasing number of objects in the world - useful especially for dedicated servers.

    Features
    - electricity is now being transmitted through rotors (inter-grid electricity and communications relaying)
    - “center of mass” indicator (enabled in terminal screen: Info panel)
    - moved some of the world settings to the new “advanced settings” screen
    - new world settings: automatic removal of respawn ships
    - new world settings: automatic trash removal
    - new world settings: world size limit
    - ban on player’s screen (F3) for dedicated server
    - improved landing gear (setting break force, auto-lock feature)

    Fixes
    - fixed crashes caused by landing gears, rotors and merge blocks
    - fixed crashes when character was walking near asteroids
    - fixed toolbar issues (drag and copy, right click, double click)
    - fixed crash when creating Crashed Ship scenario
    - fixed frozen cube builder preview
    - fixed auto-submit log after game crash

    EDIT 06/20/14:

    Update 01.035.009
    - fixed landing gear auto-lock crash
    - fixed issues during and after merging platform/ship (crash after pressing Y, kicked from cockpit, can't pilot merged ship, etc)
    - fixed crash when loading various old worlds
    - fixed crash when drilling
    - fixed various control group issues (more fixes to follow)
    - fixed recharging energy for newly build cockpits/medbays
    - fixed custom game setup not remembering the chosen number of asteroids in the world

    really nice update. Pretty useful too. However i wish you added something to connect the rotor pins and bases with because sometimes if a rotor breaks off or i copy paste a ship i have to rebuild the rotor system.

    Rotor power! Aw ye! Now all we need is Hotkeys so I can assign my rotors for a walking spider of doom.



    Or maybe just rotatable Gatling guns on a fighter for intersecting fire.

    OMG, this is an art itself! great work! :) also center of mass is great as engineering view :) now heavy armor have a new purpose :D

    so with this update we can now have stable elevators without needing ANY landing gear, stress on rotors can be minimised AND we can correct center-of-mass issues!!!

    That, sirs, is one hell of an update. So much functionality added between the rotor fix and landing gear auto lock... I am so looking forward to seeing what people build with this.

    Also thanks for indicators on the big weilders. It will help to not kill myself with spark.

    Yeah we get it... every update is so "awesome" But without a AI-Enemy its nothing more then a box of legos. Its horrible boring at the moment, sorry, even with all the play-toys you brought us. There needs to be a enemy, at least a simple-ai that shoots you when they see you and follow you around at a specific ground/space-radius.

    Till now... i just wait week for week that something like that happens.

    Very nice update yay for the electrickery and rotors! Now I can make my POLICE ship without it looking funky. Nice with the auto removal of junk but I was hoping for working radar so I could go out and scavenge it instead! :D

    They should take in account center of thrust too!! If you put the thrusters in a bad position, the ship will start rotating when you accelerate. There should also be an auto compensation system where it stops the ship from rotating, however, it becomes less energy efficient... with this feature, people will have to actually think smartly to put on engines!!
    Ofcource the center of thrust should be disabled or enabled in the world settings options.
    What do you guys think?? :D
