Play on a PvP server. You'll have something to do besides sit around waiting for AI.

    Toolbar fix:

So did this fix the toolbar glitch as a non-host in a hosted game? Where I would only have to work with 1 block at a time?

My friend isn't online to test this right now otherwise I would just do that.

while I personally would prefer cables this is a good and very useful feature that will greatly allow complex designs. thank you very much.

    Good updates!

not entirely sure if it's related to this, or the fact that my computer decided to restart itself last night (Windows update... blergh), but now my Dedicated Server saves are gone...

    - electricity is now being transmitted through rotors (inter-grid electricity and communications relaying)

I've been waiting for this since my first week of playing space engineers when I figured out I couldn't make a solar array that could point at the sun. Thank you for now making that now possible.

Also thank you for the continued efforts to make public multiplayer servers at least have the possibility of having a somewhat decent experience.

It would be nice but only as a toggle. I like being able to make very sci-fi ships without worrying about realism. With that said, it would be nice to have a world setting to change the behavior of thrusts so that they are realistic (like Kerbal Space Program), in case people want to have more stringent rules on viable craft.

Although, if you have Cockpit>Rotor>Thrusters you can't control the thrusters from the cockpit if the engines are on a part attached to a rotor.

you can just push the pin back into the rotor base and then save the game and reload the world and they should be reattached again. works also if u want to copy a ship to another world.

    Very nice update!

Yes, i agree with you FiesesAlien the singleplayer survival games need something like that, we need a reason for building our armed ships, maybe a mal functional AI piloted ships or drones wandering around and shooting the player if he is detected.

Ugh... and I still have hours of work left. You are killing me!

Fantastic update. I think this might actually allow for some walkers to function, if those robot arms on display are any indication (I was drooling actually).

As happy as I am to see the improvements, especially the rotors, I have to agree with this. Without netcode improvements my, and many others, will still be keeping their dedicated servers offline.

Improved netcode is becoming more and more of a must...
rotors can propagate power.. that's all good, but when we can't USE rotors in MP it's kinda worthless with this update. (i haven't tried to use them yet, but the fact that there is no mention of netcode updates would lead me to believe they are still just as buggy)

Having listened to and seen the stream with Marek the other day i am worried that the devs haven't realized yet how important MP and dedicated servers are to the community.

There are so many that keep going "AI to play against" and "FACTIONS!!11", but i think what we really need is bugfixing and stabilization of the netcode so this game becomes a much better multiplayer experience (which will be one of the main things driving this game forwards)
