    just checked it out- the SS turrets are sweeet!
    edit:
    is the jetpack intended to play the "jet off" sound every time the character stops moving(but doesn't actually turn the jetpack off)

    The performance improvements are a complete FAIL.

    I went from 37fps to 12fps in the same location. The character moves as if in super slow-mo and basic commands are ignored ie jet pack on. lights, dampners, etc.

    This is one of those updates I wish I could roll back as it has made my world unplayable.

    Interesting. Just earlier this evening/night I was crashing different huge ships into asteroids with Simspeed down to 0.06-0.04 each time. I'll take a look how far it drops now :D

    thats a very good point. Thats a fair bit of mass on that spinning platform. I would expect it to wobble a lot when they manouver. It doesn't. Might they have strengthened rotor attachments?

    For anyone having issues runing SE, try editing the config file back to DX9. The game should run that way in case you really want to try the upedate out.

    SE started just fine, DX11 Dual GT 755M w/SLI, but my radar block was removed from ship and my Gatling Turrets were turned into Missile Turrets.

    Got the game crash bug as well, I have a GTX 980

    Switching to DX9 in the config file did allow me to open it without crashing

    CFG location is as follows: Local Disk C:/Users/(what ever your username on your computer is)/appdata/roaming/Spaceengineers
