    Summary
In this update we are introducing a block damage system to Medieval Engineers. You should no longer be able to destroy a stone wall with just one hammer/tool hit. We also added damage decals so you can easily see which blocks have been damaged.
Additionally, this patch contains a new lockable rope drum block for catapults so you will no longer need to reattach the rope after each firing. It can also be useful for gates (opening/closing) or pulley systems (such as elevators). The rope's minimum/maximum length can be manually set.

    Features
    - block damage system
    - new block: lockable rope drum

    Fixes
    - tweaked eye-light adaptation settings
    - fixed missing textures on modded blocks (you have make some changes mentioned in textures guide and then republish the mod to get the textures again)
    - fixed small grid blocks staying in the air even after supporting large grid falls
    - fixed lock catch block missing the lock
    - fixed a workaround that allowed pasting of containers without weight of the things inside
    - fixed mount points on wooden wall slope and wooden wall top
    - fixed black row in upper left corner

Nice! The block damage system is great! It does need some re balance but I have to test more to figure out what. Also the fixes are nice. The lockable drum is awesome! It can increase the speed of things so much an it offer new possibilities! Thanks!

Quick experimentation: To take out 1 stone block you need 8 shots of the medium projectile thrower at full strength, but only 2 of the large ones, also, it seems the projectile thrower thrown rounds are really bouncy, the more oblique the bouncier they get, sometimes to a ridiculous degree, threw a medium projectile at the ground, it hit the ground, stayed intact and bounced up to a height of 20 or more blocks before coming down.

Though I'm sad the rope length functionality wasn't limited to just the new rope drum, as you'd quite easily be able to do a similar thing with the normal rope drum and locking catch block.

    To illustrate my above points.

These were intact medium projectiles thrown by the thrower tool, 1st picture the round is above center and slightly to the right, same with the second picture.

Nice to have that damage system.

To be honest though. The ropedrum strikes me as weird. This is how the default drum should behave in combination with a catch-block.

I'd very much prefer if the regular rope drums had the min/max length settings and where able to unwind by applying tension to the rope. That would make more sense and allow for more variation, without the need for another block.
