    Summary
In this update we are introducing a construction system for survival mode. From now on, you will need to mine rocks and cut trees in order to gain raw resources for building. You will also need to carry the resources close to the construction site by using carts or your hands. While building, the resources will be taken from the character's surrounding (the current radius is 7m – or 3 large blocks). We have plans to include using contents of nearby chests or barrels in the future.
You place a block and build it with a hammer by using the Right Mouse Button - for placing a block you need the bottom resource in the resource list. In case you want to deconstruct a block back into the building material, use the new deconstruction tool (RMB) - but keep in mind that it can take a long time to deconstruct a huge stone block.
The first batch of construction models for blocks was released for now - more will be added into the G screen in the future updates.
We have also increased the amount of stones spawned when mining with a pickaxe.

    Features

    - survival building
    - added deconstruction tool
    - construction models for the first batch of blocks
    - inventory weight
    - spawning more stones when mining
    - added sounds for connecting ropes

    Fixes
    - temporary fix for Intel HD graphics
    - fixed countdown for clients on Castle Siege

Just one quick thing, The deconstruction of blocks compared to build time seems way too long. I think you need to shorten the deconstruction time.

The inventory weight is a great idea, much more practical to build the weighted ends of stuff.

It's definitely a step in the right direction but...I find the radius far too small with regards to hilly terrain - resources tend to roll away before i can construct stuff...

Now thinking about the features of survival, we could use a shovel to do something like the voxel hands.

Some blocks seem to be missing in the latest update...dunno why or how to find them but that's just my observations. The List of All Blocks used to be almost twice as long.

I found out you have to right click on the logs a few times to get them to square timbers

Finally! Looks like I'll have a very good reason to play ME like there's no tomorrow during my vacation in a few weeks! :D I really like how building materials needs to be on the ground nearby rather than in a unrealistically large character inventory. Way to go KSH! Thanks a bunch for this update! (I just realized that survival building == construction models for each blocks, that sure explains why it took so long)

I believe it's fine at 7m. Building on hilly terrain is tricky IRL too. You need to devise a way to keep materials in place, like placing posts or fences.

Must be because not all blocks have construction models ready yet, as mentioned in OP.

After play testing it ... I have to say it is no fun.
To build even a tiny hut you need ridiculous amounts of material which gathering alone takes ages, and transport even more.
The result is something that building took literally month in game time but is literally destroyed in minutes. (and I mean literally literally)

It would be better if the AI would be of any help ... but they are still dumb as 5m wett dirt track. Woodcutter cuts down trees, but looses interest when done, littering the environment with trees (is not cutting them into logs). Miner dug himself a hole he was unable to escape from. Transporter (ex woodcutter) was either standing on the logs (and therefore couldn't move) I made or dropped the stones where he picked them up ... but returned to stockpile anyway. One NPC managed to fell of the world (walked over the border mountain).

Well, it was funny... but you are unable to make any progress this way.

My only question will be, will the ground eventually be layered when they put resources like iron in the game? Digging a tunnel of grass is getting pretty old already. Since we have construction models for stuff, where are we going to get hay for the hay roofs and clay for the tiled roofs?
