Update 02.038 - Bug fixes

    Summary
    As the stabilization period continues we prepared new fixes and improvements for this week’s update such as fixing impact sounds between objects and improving manipulation with objects that is now more quicker when rotating.



    Fixes

    - added barbarian music whenever a barbarian wave starts
    - building beds sets the ownership to builder by default
    - fixed scrolling of sub-blocks in g-screen
    - manipulated objects rotate more quickly now
    - fixed impact sounds between objects
    - fixed missing localization strings in game options
    - fixed de-spawning of bags on DS
    - fixed getting resources from deconstructing blocks
    - fixed blocks being indestructible when hit by projectiles at specific locations
    - fixed stone block slope battlements mount points
    - fixed mount points on a torch
    - fixed official blueprints not having stones

    - fixed server time sync
    - fixed loot bag sync with server

    A Teaser of upcoming stuff would be nice, if we get another bug fixing update after this one!

    I speculate that we will be seeing new features soon, such as mining of ores and smithing.
    Perhaps large worlds isn't very far off too, seeing that terrain generation and resource distribution will be possible via planet development in SE (or maybe vice-versa).

    There's no hype in here procedurally generated infinite worlds are yet to be announced then we will be able to ride the Hype train in this section too :woot:

    Did Keen ever really consider multi-blocks in SE?

    Also, "Stabilization Period" means nearly all resources are allocated elsewhere... cough planets cough cough :3

    er... friend, I suggest you read the dev blog or the myriad of forum entries. There are two different teams for SE and ME and this has been discussed to death already by loads and loads of users who do not bother to read so I make it a little easy for you: http://blog.marekrosa.org/2015/01/medieval-engineers_22.html

    If you follow their hiring-offers you will also see that there are people specifically hired for ME, SE or GoodAI. They do not float around freely in their office and hop from project to project, this would not benefit either of the two games.

    True.... and lots of people complaining either because there is no new features or there are not enough bug fixes.

    Like I said, I can wait until SE changes release before more major ME changes. When SE was this old I think we had wheels and rockets that only killed the ship they fired from, so yeah.
