Hello, Engineers! This week’s minor update is focused on addressing various crashes, the majority of which are related to multithreaded physics. This is also why you may have noticed multiple hotfixes being released during the last week as we are determined to fix them as soon as possible. Other issues fixed include the collect all option not working properly with large connectors and being unable to remove catwalks in certain situations.

Now here’s some community news for all the ship builders out there. I would like to remind everyone about the UESC monthly build contest which is being sponsored by us here at Keen Software House. With every new contest there is a different theme defining the type of builds for that month. This is a great opportunity to showcase your ship design talents and even win some game keys! You can find more information about the contest and how to enter here!

    Fixes:
    • fixed game crash caused by turrets behavior
    • fixed not working Collect all option for Large Connectors
    • fixed audio crash
    • fixed game crash when old models are imported
    • fixed game crash when copying grids

Cool!? Good Job, But Could I request the following fixes.
Spotlights and helmet lights Randomly flicker on and off at certan angels. since you "Fixed

Spotlights some 2 patches ago" patch 180 they worked fine. 181 broken. -

Could we get some De-sync for wheels pistions and rotors? - Fixed?
Maybe the losing the ability to place blocks even in SP after a hour in the world.
*reloading fixes but you should not have to...*
Finaly Stone and Other Ores when dropped still show up purple.

Glad to see some crashes getting fixed. Turret locked the game up for a moment but didn't crash so that's a plus. Hopefully now with some of these crashes fixed they can get the turrets to actually shoot at things again, and plug that hydrogen drain in creative. The turrets not shooting and hydrogen drain have made my game completely unplayable for close to 2 weeks now.

Are the turrets corrected? NO! For two weeks you turned your game, which was survival, in a stupid lego. Connectors, landing gear, the turret, jump ect. Game in which there is no water in 2017, for what reason there are pirates here? Let it be lego in the mode of creativity and that's it!:?

Confirmed: The bad camera behavior is still back. :(

The camera is back to the behavior where 3rd person view can get locked into the cockpit, after which point there is no response to player input. (Until you get lucky and move the invisible, unresponsive, camera into a new valid location.) It's as bad as always, where there's a ~1 delay between moving the camera and the game checking whether it feels like leaving the cockpit. So you have to mouse wiggle-pause-hope, mouse-wiggle-pause-hope, repeatedly with no visual response from the game until the camera returns to 3rd person view.

This seems to go along with a larger collision box/radius around the camera.

Especially when working in tight spaces, this breaks camera behavior (again). I hope they can reapply the fix ASAP!

Is this an old issue? If i lock rotors when using thr jump drive they break up and clang the whole ship with the broken pieces.....

G-menu icons for one-button (wall mount) and four-button (floor mount) console are currently confused. So when you pick the one you get the other.

Well ya no updates on the hotfix it's up to us to explore and find out what works and doesn't and just add it to the the buglist or not (if it's there). I'm ok with it. Makes life more interesting I guess, lol. Really love this game though. It's better than staring at the wall watching the paint peal. Especially when most games now a days don't require you to use your imagination just click click click and instant gratification.

Love it Gotta have sense of humor. Sometimes you have to tear the whole wall down, But sometimes just some sanding and paint will do. I guess it's a lot like this game. LOL

Well watching the paint peal is all fine and can be enjoyable... as long as it was recorded for you and you are playing it back at a high speed. If your sitting there waiting for the paint to peel... well it better be some specifically designed paint to peel off fast.

    mhhh... calamine lotion.

Most likely continue to break something that did not have time to break in the main patch. Therefore they are silent :D:tu:

I experienced another problem, don't know if has to do with latest patches or is a main stay. I currently try to pilot a small grid vessel myself over long distance, for dropping communication satellites between two space stations 18.000 km apart, every 4.000 km one (so four sats in my cargo section - they are set tightly on the floor by landing gear attachment). Ship has no jump drive. So what I do is going to max speed (and beyond thanks to speed mod) and shutting off damper after aligning the nose towards GPS location of destination. All goes well for some time, if I ignore the course does not stay completely steady and needs to be corrected from time to time (crosshair wandering off).
    *BUT*
after some minutes of flight the ship suddenly changes direction like 90 degrees and speed is reduced to 20 m/sec or lower, as if it bumped against an invisible obstruction (without damage), the loss of speed from 100 - 200 m/sec to below 20 is happening instantly and not gradually declining. This kind of incident happened now about three times already on this trip. I think something weird is going on. I expect the journey to run smoothly and steadily when I set course and speed manually for an unlimited period as long as the ship is fueled (ion thrusters here) and I don't hit on an asteroid, ship or wreckage.
Ah yes, autopilot also had this jerk, that's why I went into manual flight at all.

    @Xaaeon .... oh yes.

I have this little beauty of a bug too. Wandered up to a pirate gatling turret and just sat in front of it in my suit. Not a scratch while it fired right through me. My ship had not been getting damaged either.
