Update 1.183.1 - Chinese Translation & Beta Improvements

    Hello, Engineers! This week's minor release is primarily focusing on the Chinese translation of the game, but also on other minor fixes such as parachute fixes, container spawning, block fixes and many others.
    During 5 month period, We have been working on Chinese translation for Space Engineers with the great help from Chinese community! Now we are happy to announce, that we have finished the translation and releasing it today.

    Features:
    • Chinese language
    • added access rights checking for block painting
    Fixes:
    • fixed crash while clicking join game in main menu
    • fixed a bug where ship become dynamic with locked landing gears to voxel
    • fixed character stuck in med bay after receiving item from market
    • fixed not being able to control enemy turret with admin tool "can use all terminals" activated
    • fixed gatling gun sound and particles keep looping
    • fixed LOD of Light and Heavy Round Inv. Corner blocks not displaying properly
    • fixed parachute not working with conveyor system
    • fixed parachute does not render in some cases
    • fixed a bug where more than one personal container could be spawned
    • increased spawn time of container drops to 10 - 45 minutes (this does not lower amount of items you get, there is just less empty containers)
    Hotfixes 1.183.101:
    • fixed crash screen always in Chinese
    • fixed game crash when convert the grid to dynamic (temporary crash fix)
    Hotfixes 1.183.102:
    • spawn time for container drops to 5–20 minutes (looking for best values)
    • fixed game crash when convert the grid to dynamic (final crash fix)
    Hotfixes 1.183.103:
    • fixed "ghost blocks" issue when grinding or removing blocks

    Now with the crate spawn times, does this bring item drop rate fixes? Because its been 3 days since I've gotten anything from them in survival.

    Nice, really happy about access rights checking for block painting as trolls painting entire ships in one go was an annoying source of lag. Good to see the new suggestions system being used :D

    So, if the minimum container spawn time is 10 minutes, what happens if it tries to spawn another container while one is still active?
    Does the timer get completely reset, so it could be another 45 minutes, or does it retry in a minute or two?

    Before and after this update, I am having an issue where players are killed by doors from mods when trying to pass through them, but only if the ship is moving.

    I would say it will work just like before. They only start counting the spawn time after the previous container became inactive.

    is the drop chance improved? the only thing worse than a container appearing every few minutes and having nothing in them,would be a container that takes nearly an hour and has nothing in it.

    According to the Space Engineers Feedback site, the option to disable crate spawning was added but it's not mentioned in the notes or video. If correct, where is the option located?

    Edit: nvm, found it as enable/disable unknown signals

    Actually, I like English part of the Chinese font more then original English font. Sharpness is much better.

    Bug: Is impossible to change font of LCD Panel while you using Chinese.
    Value is changing, but is have no effect.

    Thumbs up for the paint permissions.

    NEXT: Remove the laser antenna... totally useless in MP, the laser checks line of sight to the other laser by a raytrace apparently. When the MP servers are all set up with a load range of 10 - 20km or whatever the bloody laser is restricted to that range. Who is running a server with a 40km load range? Suggestion... tank the laser and instead have an alternative antenna with a greater range, as normal antennas work without a physical raytrace check. The laser antenna was a 'neat' idea that doesn't translate well to MP server performance.

    You still can use laser antenna for ingame scripting. It allows one-to-one connections with no any interference.

    I love the Google translation of the Chinese script in the description:
