    **NEWLY COMPLETED**
Ive been working on this ship all week, Its huge. I plan on going exploring with it. It has 5 Large resource containers, 6 Large reactors. When its using full afterburner, it reaches speeds up to 72m/s, reaching only 78% reactor capacity. Starts and stops on a dime, turns almost too fast. Only a few thrusters are hidden. the back engines arent finished yet, i plan on reinforcing them a tad.
    Tell me what you think!!!

Agreed, but it's already too fast for its own good, to lose the back engines would only slow it down a lil bit.
Thanks for the comment. The hip is still a work in progress

Hehe, one of my ships is also called the Leviathan :p

Nice job, it reminds me of the Tantive IV from Star Wars

The bow of my Explorer does kinda look like Tantive's. only mine is a biiiit bigger. :D Most of the front hull is "Armor". Other than a few small thrusters and a couple headlights, the bow is about 6 blocks thick

Is it possible to share ships/game saves? This looks like it would be fun to take for a spin :)

:D :D :D :D. You can post save games to steam workshop

Yeah, you can look up "Geo-Scout Microship" for the steam workshop address. I have to update it though. The link on there is a save game from yesterday, when the cruiser was only half finished. Check back in like 4 hours, ill post the save game after I get off work

Theres not many Airlocks on the ship, you can enter through the docking bay. The cockpit is accessible by a ladder in the midsection, or the lazy way; the busted window on the side where there should be 2 panels. # entrances in the rear.
Space base has a secret entrance into the crust of the asteroid, its actually completely hollow. Neat thing there.
    Have fun

    Neat.
    Your design is pretty interesting.
I still try to find a good one for me. :)

Completely and utterly impracticable design there... which looks wonderful!

Impracticable?! lol The engines maybe... But I like the design! The engines are spread out, so if I take a direct hit to the rear, theres a slim chance theyll knock them all out. A hit to the "Halo engine-mounts" wont knock out all of the rear engines, they should hold on. Ill do some crash tests just to be sure of my Hypothesis :p

You should make a secondary bridge aka Battle Bridge. Your bridge area is too exposed. In a heated battle, you are exposed to every danger that you will face with this ship. So maybe that your main bridge can act as your everyday exploration / Mining, while you hide yourself in a more protected battle bridge. I wonder about the inside

Ill post more pics of the inside, it's veery spacious. I agree with your idea, I just like being able to see the whole ship from the bridge. I think I'll take you up on that idea. Maybe some red walls.... Tactical room

Oh, and btw, the tower on top of the ship just houses a large thruster, I meant for that to be
Like a battle bridge, lots of turrets will be mounted there. The pilots chairs are below the tower, accessible by ladder.

I like this kind of constructive criticism though, that's what designing ships is all about
