(Please excuse the lags and slow down, it's my computer struggling to keep a decent framerate. Also I'm new at this video thingy so it's hard for me to edit and make a better video. I'm learning on how to do it right now and hopefully can do better in the future.)

Introduction:

The ship was build by many different corporations, most notably:

• Virtual Assistant and AI: Microsoft Corp.
• Weapon system: AMR.
After a long and deadly war, the USSC is left weakened and disorganized. Despite the two massive empire signing an armistice, ceasing fire across multiple sectors in the galaxy, the USSC needed to be more than prepared to be able to withstand the might of the enemies. After completely exhausted the resources of an entire planet, federal government put in order 100 Enforcer class Light Destroyers as a support vessel for much bigger, more powerful warships. Despite being classified only as a "Lightly armored vessel", the Savannah can withstand heavy concentrated fire from multiple enemies without suffering critical damage. The Savannah is not light on firepower either, 10 powerful, massive batteries can punch holes through enemies ships while many smaller, AI operated turrets can take down fighters and incoming missiles with ease. The ship is also equipped with the most advance Gravity Drive that is capable of warping the massive vessel out of combat in a blink of an eye.

The Savannah comes standard with a pair of Planetary Bombardment Canons. Understanding that the war doesn't only take place in space, but on the surface of a planet as well, The USSC ordered the best equipment from AMR Incorporation, and built a prototype canon that is capable of firing a 2 m slug that can penetrate the surface's atmosphere at almost 20 times the speed of sound. The kinetic damage of the slug alone can vaporize an entire city as big as Washington DC. The ship also have a flight deck capable of holding 10 Cobra gunships, 2 Pelican Dropships and many other fighters. This allow the Savannah to engage more dynamically in firefights, alone or with other ships.

The Savannah is an extremely capable and powerful warships, with it's entire class only lost two vessels to enemy fire. The first one, USS. Fist of Justice was destroyed by an Arcturian Dreadnought, which also took an incredible amount of damage after being fired upon by the ship's pair of Planetary Bombardment Canon. The second ship, The USS. Ocean of Stars, after a mutiny staged by half of the crew, was hijacked with the help of Arcturians collaborators, and is currently operating in deep space.

Note: The Defector, former name USS. Ocean of Stars.
After 2 weeks of disappearance, the USS. Ocean of Stars was reported in sector D-27 in Alpha Centauri, orbiting an Arcturian space station. The USSC quickly deployed several stealth frigates to investigate, and one of such, the Constellation-43, warped in near the destroyer to make visual assessment. After receiving order from General William Clarke, the ship stealthily docked with the Ocean of Star, and the strike team boarded the ship. No videos recording was found, only a badly damage audio transmission recovered to investigate. Constellation-43 undocked 2 hours later, drifted to an unspecified coordinate, and exploded. All personnel assumed dead. The Ocean of Star quickly jumped away,
eluded the incoming USSC fleet.

I will post steam workshop link as soon as I see that the ship is ready for combat.

Note: I understand that some people find the paint job rather, impulsive. I tried my best to incorporate blue, yellow and white into a battleship, so it's not gonna turn out so well. I built this ship for someone that I love and matters a lot to me in my life, so no, I will not change the paint job. However, I'm working on another variant, the Defector, which is going to be made out entirely of heavy armor and is featuring a black and red paint job, so please bear with me :D

I have other ships already in production, ranging from small 1 pilot bomber, fire support corvette, large frigates, a massive battlecruiser and a 1.2 km long super carrier. Will post updates about the ships as soon as I can be able to.

To be blunt it sticks out like a sore thumb.:D
But on the other hand it has a awesome design. if you could tone down the colors just a bit that would help.
is the interior complete? or is it just the outside?

Looks a bit like you didn't have enough white Lego Bricks -.- maybe it's my color blindness mucking about with my perception again but other than the general outline (which is fine btw) i can't really tell what's going on. It could also be simply a case of being too far away - i believe a few close ups would make it easier on the eyes. SE tends to look bad from big distances. My own ship's windows start look like Nachos, for example.

Also your YT video is set to private.

I was like, wordswordwordsCOLORSohshit... that's actually pretty cool.

Love the turrets.

Love the angles

Love the cannons

Edit: I find something else to like about your ships each time I look at them.

Edit: Samsung is Korean :)

I think the problem is that whan you first see it, it looks like there is absolutly no logic and the colors looks like they've been put there at random, and then when you take the time to look at it, a patterns emerge.

but yeah if you only base your opinion on the first look, then yeah its really weird.

Great design. I have had to paint my 200 mill mass 485 Meters Storm Crow several times So i know what a pain in the ass it is. But damn this ship rocks. Also use saturation red fro your heavy armor Savannah design in the windows. It'll make it stand out better. Again great work.

I like to give my creations a background. Just something to keep my mentality in check :) Also just because it's the USSC doesn't mean they can't use imported goods

I always paint my ship on a specific pattern, i know the paintjob is abysmal, and im currently working on a more badass version of it.

Thanks for understanding, I put over 60 hours into this baby and it's everything to see her flies.

Youtube video is now up and should be viewable. I shown as much of the interior as possible.

I do realize that it has a very ugly paintjob, but i'm not going to change the original look. The Savannah will always have this ugly kind of paintjob, as she is created for someone that matters in my life and these colors are everything to and about her. I'm sorry if it looks like that and i'll provide a plain gray model as well as a Defector model with black and red paint job as soon as possible.

Whoo. That's a lot of replies. Thanks guys!

From the colour scheme to the structure shape, I do not know where to look first as there is just way too much going on at once. It all both sticks out, and blurs into the background at the same time. If that makes any sense.
Otherwise, nice ship.

Ah, I highly advice watching the video if you want to make sense of what's goin on. I tried doing an all grey color scheme and finding the ship looks slightly the same. It's the complex structure that makes the ship extremely confusing

Someone is a fan of Gundam am I right?

The only way that ship is hiding is if it runs into a paint factory :woot:

No but seriously, that is highly impressive work there. Despite what appears to be a over the top color pallet, you can tell a lot of detail and effort went into that ship simply from looking at the color alone.

As a personal question, and one that you may not want to dwell on, just how long did it take you to build that? I can only imagine...

I didn't keep track of the time but i'd say around 30 hours considering that i spend around 400 hours in that game. I do realized the paint job is abyssmal but i will not change it as i said the ship is devoted for someone that played a big role in my life (hence the name)
edit: Never played, watch or build gundam in my life, but i bet it's cool
