unable to launch: serialization errors

    That's version of .NET, have you tried installing updates? I have Win7x64 SP1 with all updates and I have:
    Environment.Version: 4.0.30319.18444

    I was having the same error, so I updated to the .NET framework 4.5.2 in the "optional" update section of windows updates. It worked for me!

    Workaround is being tested right now.
    It's still recommended to install ".NET framework 4.5.2 optional update"
