Update 02.041 - Join Castle Siege while in progress, Multiplayer improvements

Summary
With this week’s update we are adding the option to join a Castle Siege while the session is in progress. We are also introducing new updates improving the multiplayer. Please bear in mind that this is the first iteration and there might be some issues (mainly related to clients' connection on dedicated server) - you can report them in our bug report section: https://forum.keenswh.com/forums/bug-reports.415209/

The new “Join in Progress” will work as follows:
- a new player will be assigned to the team with the least amount of players. If both teams have the same number of players, the new player will be assigned randomly.
- after the game session ends (by fulfilling the conditions for winning, or running out of time), the server will disappear from the list. If a castle siege is created on dedicated server, it will create a new lobby automatically after the session ends.

As for the update itself..... yay? Was hoping for some serious new content, but I guess joining in-progress games is good.

 

Interesting update....not quite what I was expecting but glad there was some improvements none the less.

Hopefully we'll be getting some more survival and more blocks soon. Since I dont have any friends who own this game atm, MP really isn't something interests me so....

and about the update: Why no new blocks.... We havent got any blocks since months now.... We havent got anything new for survival for months.... Please give us some new goodies....

Now's that a feature that's long over due as we will be able to rejoin games in progress after a disconnect, it should also make getting a net game with random people much easier, as we can join random games already in progress.

 

Thanks for the update.... Will we now get an ME update on next Monday to make up for the Wednesday update ?

 

I love siege options. Hopefully these grow into tools for player to create their own types of siege games.

For some reason since this update every server I join I end up spawning clipped through the level and eventually die after a 5-8 second fall. Every respawn brings me back to the same situation.
