Or to phrase it another way, inventory slot click zones (I can't remember the proper term) aren't cut off when outside the scrolling window.

I had to turn off hardware cursor so it would show up in the screenshots, but this bug applies in hardware and software cursor modes. Click each image for full-sized version.

Clicking here will make the filter text box active, but will not clear the text. You can still type in the filter. Clicking here will also select the item "behind" the X, which in this case is the 151 gravel you can see highlight.

Scrolling down further makes it impossible to click to the Control Panel tab, until you scroll back up. Note that the Control Panel tab button will still highlight when you mouseover, but clicks do not reach it.

Clicking and holding shows why this isn't working: the mouse click is activating the inventory slot below, in this case gravel.

Double-clicking also shows that the mouse click event is going to the inventory slot instead. The gravel has been moved to the first inventory on the RHS.

All of this applies to the right-hand inventory window as well, but I chose to demonstrate with the left. Some buttons have odd behaviour, for example the inventory type filter buttons will register the click if not currently active, but the active filter button will "pass" clicks to the inventory slot "behind" it.

To reproduce, have enough attached inventories that you can scroll, and scroll so that inventory slots are "behind" something that you can normally click on.

Are you sure this isnt a sim speed issue? The lag due to the sim speed issue can have you miss click stuff even though your cursor seems to be in the right place? Have your cursor hover over something for a second or two before clicking and see if it still does the same thing.

It's not sim speed. The problem is what is registering the click, not where it is registering.

Aaaah! You can hear now a few coins fall down to the floor! :D

Now I know why I can't clear the search box any more, or why a click to the control panel did not work; I helped myself out by clicking first to Production tab and then back.

In the previous version, v01.055, clearing the filter box with the "x" was possible, but the tabulator bug was present, too. Maybe earlier versions are affected, too. It's been a while I needed to work around this bug described above.

Thank you for the detailled report (a single picture can show more than 1.000 words can say).

    Just to report:
I can't use "x" on the right tab even if the list is on the most top. I'm using window mode. Obviously, there's more broken.

[x] Works now in the control panel Tab, but not in the Inventory Tab. Inventory Tab seems to still have the issues mentioned by OP
