If you have a blueprint with timer blocks, after welding the projection all of the actions in the timer block are greyed out even if it has blocks with the current name and even if the actions on based on block group that exist.

Desired behavior (and previous behavior) is for the timer block to retain it's actions after being welded.

I discovered this bug while replacing PMW torpedoes on my small ship in creative mode. Placing the blueprints manually kept the timer block options properly, but using a projector and welder to replace fired torpedoes it would be them with all of the actions greyed out on the timer block.

Could it be an ownership issue? Did you own the blueprinted grid before making it into a blueprint?

Double checked all ownership and everything before and after is owned by me so it's not an ownership issue.

I can confirm this is an issue on Stable build with all servers. I verified ownership before creating the blueprint.

This bug has broken several of my builds which rely on projectors, since the projected timers "forget" everything when welded by a ship welder. It probably happens when welding the projection by hand as well, but only tested it with ship welder tool (large grid).

This is easily replicated on any server and happens 100% of the time.

Same issue here in latest stable build.. been happening off and on for over a year, when projecting/building blueprints containing timers, sensor or anything with actions.. Was hoping beta would be stable enough to have some fun with.. Guess I need to put SE back on the shelf for another few months...

I have the same issue, but it's not limited to Timers. Button panels, Air vents, etc all lose their references when i weld them from a blueprint.

This is really a problem for me, as i have designed my ship in creative, and am trying to build it in survival. It contains a lot of actions on sensors, air vents, buttons and timers, which i have to set up manually all over again.

This bug is back for me since last update. My projected Missiles Timer Blocks are losing the Action to run the programmable block. In it's place in the action bar is the dreaded blank square.

This is my ship with the missile welders.

It seems that the actions can't be re-applied to the timer block as nothing happens when the PB is selected.

Sometimes one or two timers will remember their actions while 6 or 7 others won't.

Also, Saving and exiting the game and then reloading seems to fix the broken timer actions.
