Autopilot Button Greyed Out?

Hello. I booted up SE since quite a while and I built a remote control. I then saw that the "Autopilot" option on the remote control block is greyed and off. I have a waypoint set and everything; the precision and non-collision option is working. I am on the dev build 1.141. I thought it may have been a planetary change but same result in space. Tried a new world, same. I saw a video ~2 weeks and autopilot was working on theirs... Any thoughts what may be causing it?

 

If you select "control" on any autopilot then the autopilot option grays out. Idk if this applies to sitting in a fight seat or cockpit too.

For drones simply press T to give up control then it should come back.

 

also remember that all modes except one-way requare two waypoints.
also there is was bug which can force have two points for one-way too.
