    Takion Cannon Defense Ring:
Among several of the C-1 Corporations inhabited star systems are numerous ion-weapon defense platforms and are referred to as Takion Cannons. Mass produced and exceptionally lethal, these cannons are positioned around inhabited worlds and are tasked with the defense of both the planet and the system they are housed within.

    Facility Y-121 (SPA Generation Facility):
Isolated within an uninhabited system but well protected by a series of defensive fleets and stations, Facility Y-121 is the single largest industrial facility in C-1 operation. Despite its size, this facility is only intended to produce one product and that being SPA particles.

    C-1 Corporation Corvette-Class Units:

    Class name:
    Harbinger-Class "Multi-gun Corvette"

    Ship Class:

    Light Corvette

    Image link:
    (Length: 39m / Width: 23m / Height: 12m)

    Mission Role:

    Anti-fighter Escort and Defensive Unit
    (Effective Against: All Strike-craft)
(Weak Against: Other Corvettes and Larger Vessels)

    Weapons Loadout:

    8: 30mm Anti-fighter defensive guns
    2: Forward Missile Tubes (x6 AF-SRM's)

    Stored Munitions:

    30mm fires proximity explosive rounds

    Defensive Capabilities:

-Moderate Armor placed in vital areas.
    -Traditional Flares
    -E.C.M.
    -E.C.C.M.

    Special Equipment:

    -FTL Drive
    -Advanced Target-Tracking Coordination System

    Additional Notes:

The C-1's Multi-gun Corvette was first introduced when Fleet Admirals began noting the sever lack of proper coverage against enemy strike-class units. Though little mind was given to strike-craft as most capital ship defensive systems continued to prove more than capable at intercepting such targets, the concern was enough to warrant a dedicated light vessel to fill the empty position.

What was created was a small corvette-class vessel with numerous gun placements that allowed for overwhelming control of an area against strike-craft and larger ballistic munitions of enemy warships. Dubbed the Harbinger, this unit is able to saturate a battle zone with countless projectiles in very little time thus holding the solitary position of being the C-1's one and only anti-Strikecraft dedicated vessel.

This ship is specifically equipped and designed to engage strike-craft in complete 360 degree combat. At least 3 guns minimum will always be able to keep track of a single target. The automated targeting system is also setup to allow the guns to create various patterns of intersecting cross-fire so as to limit the effectiveness of fighter evasive maneuvers. As the target maneuvers, these guns will quickly close in until the unit is successfully hit and destroyed.

Needless to say, this unit is incredibly lethal to fighters and bombers. However it does not possess the same potential against other corvettes and larger vessels. If able to focus fire, it can eventually cause significant damage against another corvette-class vessel, but against frigates or heavily armored vessels, its weapons are unable to penetrate most of their hulls.

    Class Name:
    C-1 Larken-Class Variable Operations Vessel (V.O.V.)

    Ship Class:

    Light Corvette

    Image Link:
    (Length: 42.5m / Width: 24.5m / Height: 13.25m)
    Mission Role:

    Multi-purpose Operations*

    Weapon Loadout:

    None

    (Military Breach Ship)
    2: Point-Defense guns
    20: Commandoes

    Stored Munitions:

    None

    Defensive Capabilities:

    -Heavy frontal armor
    -E.C.M.

    (Military Breach Ship)

    2: Point-defense guns

    Special Equipment:

    (Permanent Equipment)

    -Small-scale construction bay
    -Limited refining operations bay

    (Various Equipment Loadouts)

    -Industrial Version:
Can be outfitted with either a larger refinery bay for processing a greater variety and quantity of materials or Large-scale manufacturing bay for use with construction operations as well as the ability to include mining equipment, assembly arms, and disassembly equipment (respectively).

    -Troop Transport:
Can contain an Extended Medical Bay as well as carry 20 additional personnel.

    -Military Breach Ship:
Same as the Troop transport but includes 4 Commando Breaching Pods or two point-defense turrets as well as adding additional frontal armor and a forward breaching arm.

    Additional Notes:

The C-1 Larken is the de' facto versatility unit of the C-1 fleet. It maintains this title by being able to convert many of its modular systems in order to fulfill the role of nearly any Industrial vessel. It is by default that it has built-in, automated, assembly systems as well as a small-scale refinery. However, there is ample space to extend these default systems to allow it to perform on par with most other small-scale industrial vessels. Additionally, there are also connection points at the bottom of the ship that allows it to potentially carry a single, large, cargo module (as used by the C-1's Tayeo-class freighter).

In most cases however, when this unit is not being used as a tugboat or transport vessel, it is commonly outfitted to be used to repair damaged vessels or to support large-scale construction operations. Though rarely used, there is an alternative version of this construction design that is used for mining where this forward arm section is converted to a drilling platform used to collect large amounts of resources in very little time.

In connection with its modular nature and highly versatile design, it is also often used as a troop transport vessel and can even be installed with a mid-sized medical bay capable of taking care of multiple patients at a single time. When converted to war-time operations, this transport variant is often used as a breaching vessel where its forward arms can be replaced with a powerful breaching drill to bore through an enemy ships hull.

When used for this dangerous role, it commonly equips two point-defense turrets to provide some added protection against enemy weapons fire. However, for long-range applications it can carry up to 4 commando breach pods that allows the ship to deploy from a far greater range. Still though, when forced to commit to directly breaching a hostile ship, its greatest defense comes from its thick forward armor.

    Benefits:
It can be easily converted to fill nearly any industrial, transportation, or supporting role as well as being the primary breaching vessel of the C-1 fleet.

    Negative:
It has very light armor along exterior components. They also make easy targets of opportunity and the Breaching Variant is only used when enemy defensive systems have been taken offline.

    Class Name:
    Tappers-Class "Support Corvette"

    Ship Class:

    Medium Corvette

    Image Link: (Length: 55.5m / Width: 32.5m / Height: 30.75m)
    Mission Role:

    Repair and Resupply Vessel
    (Effective Against: Fighters Only)
(Weak Against: Bombers and all Other Vessels)

    Weapon Loadouts:

    5: 30mm Defensive Guns

    Stored Munitions:

    30mm Fires Proximity Explosive Shells

    Defensive Capabilities:

-Light Armor with Reinforced Vital Areas
    -E.C.M.

    Special Equipment:

    -FTL
    -Small-scale Manufacturing Bay
    -Maintenance Drone Bay (x3 Drones)

    (Optional)

    -6 Maintenance Drones

    Additional Notes:
The C-1 Corporations Tappers-class support corvette is the primary in-the-field military support vessel of the fleets. Where as civilian construction and industrial operations are issued to the Larken-class corvette, military operations requiring resupply or refitting generally fall to these close-support corvettes.

Designed primarily to ferry smaller units to a battlefield where it is then set to act as a supply depot, this unit is also capable of providing moderate repairs to other ships by utilizing its three automated repair drones stored within the belly of the ship. Though this unit is not generally equipped to deal with large-scale repairs, it can easily be setup to carry additional drones to turn it into a dedicated repair vessel.

    Class name:
    Pandora-Class "Heavy Corvette"

    Ship Class:

    Heavy Corvette

    Image Link:
    (Length: 70.5m / Width: 31m / Height: 20.75m)
    Mission Role:
    Anti-Capital ship Vessel
(Effective Against: Other Corvettes, Frigates, Destroyers, and Light Cruisers)
(Weak Against: Strike-craft and Heavy Weapons)

    Weapons Loadout:
    2: 30mm Anti-fighter defensive guns
    1: 75mm Cannon Turret (Dual-bore)
    4: 105mm Cannon Turret (single-bore)
    2: Munition Bays: (Can house either x16 anti-ship LRM's or x4 L2 torpedoes)

    Stored Munitions:

    105mm Cannons fire high-velocity, armor-piercing, detonator rounds.
75mm can fire either traditional munitions or fragmentation rounds.
    30mm fires proximity explosive rounds.

    Defensive Capabilities:

    Heavy Armor
    Small Shield Generator
    E.C.M.
    E.C.C.M.

    Special Equipment:

    FTL Drive

    Additional Notes:

The C-1 heavy corvette is rather large for a corvette but small enough to keep from being designated a true frigate. It is however equipped with 4 small, frigate-class guns mounted upon turrets. In addition to these, it has two munition bays that can be outfitted with either long-range anti-ship missiles or anti-ship torpedoes. With these weapons, this unit is very much capable of engaging nearly any capital ship.

There are two very important notes to add though.

1: This unit is particularly vulnerable to small strike-craft: Though it excels against slow moving bombers and other corvettes, when faced with multiple fast-moving strike-craft, its anti-fighter guns do not possess adequate coverage to defend against them.

2: Despite the onboard particle shield being capable of mitigating damage sustained from frigate defensive guns, it is not strong enough to stop direct kinetic strikes: It is most effective against energy weapons and aids to mask the ships thermal and energy emission signature thus making it harder for automated targeting systems to hit it.

    -Active Camouflage Exterior Hull

    Special Equipment:

    -FTL Drive
    -Comm/Sensor Relay Buoy

    Additional Notes

A state of the art frigate designed with stealth and concealment in mind. This Viking-class vessel's role is to advance ahead of the C-1's fleets and gather intelligence and to establish a communication line throughout the astral region.

Being that it's primary role places it in harms way, it has been outfitted with special equipment that reduces its emission signature to a state that it can blend near seamlessly with the background radiation. Not only does this system reduce its overall emissions but it also comes equipped with an active camouflage system whereby its exterior can slightly alter its color. Though this is beneficial to potentially blend in with surrounding asteroids and/or other things, it does not render the vessel "invisible".

    Ship Class:

    Light Frigate

    Image link:

    Mission Role:
    Artillery Support Frigate.
(Effective Against: Corvettes, Frigates, Destroyers, and Cruisers)
(Weak Against: Strike-craft and Large-caliber Weaponry)

    Weapons Loadout:
    3: 250mm Hull-Integrated Rail-guns
    2: 155mm cannon Turrets (single-bore)
    3: 105mm cannon Turrets (dual-bore)
    2: 76mm cannon Turrets (dual-bore)
4: Forward Missile Bays (64 Total)
    3: L-3 Laser-globe defenses

    Stored Munitions:
-The 250mm Integrated rail-gun only fires high velocity, armor-piercing rounds.
-75mm can fire traditional munitions or fragmentation (flak) rounds.
    -105mm fires high-velocity, explosive rounds.

    Defensive Capabilities:
    -Moderate Forward Particle Shielding
    -Moderate Armor plating

    Special Equipment:
    -Long-range targeting system
    -FTL drive

    Additional Notes:
The Raider-class Frigate is a lightweight, long-range assault unit designed to engage in a wide variety of combat operations. Though its armor and shields are enough to see it through combat against other frigates, it is not rated to deal with large-caliber weapons.

Due to its armament of 3 long-range rail-guns the ship possesses advanced sensors for targeting. What this means is that the ship is also well suited to act as a forward scouting vessel or, more commonly during combat operations, to act as a long-range fire-support unit. It is most highly regarded for its ability to devastate enemy supply lines where it can fire at range and then retreat before being confronted. If confronted at mid to close range, the ships 2 main guns and 3 rapid-fire 155mm cannons can cause serious damage to corvettes and other frigates.

The onboard missile bays are used specifically against strike-craft as the ship only possesses two anti-fighter 75mm guns. Needless to say, this ship is susceptible to enemy strike-craft once its missile reserves have been drained. (prolonged engagements with strike-craft are not its forte)

The ship also possess 3 Laser-globe defensive turrets. These energy weapons are not powerful enough to penetrate shields or heavy armor but are instead specially designed to target and destroy strike-craft munitions.

(Effective Against: All Corvettes and Frigates, Destroyers, and some Cruisers)
    (Weak Against: Heavy Capital Ships)

    Weapons Loadout:
    2: Hull-integrated Particle Cannons (mid-range only)
    4: 155mm cannon turrets (dual-bore)
    8: 105mm cannons turrets (dual-bore)
    8: 76mm cannon turrets (dual-bore)
    6: 30mm anti-fighter defensive guns
    4: Laser-globe Defenses
    1: Corsair-M Fighter (Scout)

    Stored Munitions:
-155mm can fire high-velocity explosive rounds or Penetrator rounds selectively.
-105mm fires high-velocity, penetrating, explosive rounds.
-76mm fires traditional proximity explosive rounds but can also fire conventional munitions.

    Defensive Capabilities:
-Lightly Armored for a Destroyer-Class vessel.
    -Has Particle Shielding
    -Deflector Band Shielding
    -High-output Laser Globe Defense System.

    Special Equipment:
    -FTL Capable
    -SPA Generator
    -Small Hangar Bay

    Additional Notes:
The Acolyte Destroyer is designed to be agile and maneuverable in order to align its onboard particle Cannons to a target and to evade incoming fire. These two particle Cannons are connected to individual SPA Generators specifically dedicated to the operation of the operation of the cannons themselves.

With the use of its particle cannons, the Acolyte can quickly and efficiently engage other Destroyer-class ships and in numbers, even tackle larger cruiser-class vessels. During the initial stages of battle, its main weapon (the particle cannons) can quickly damage or destroy and enemy ship of equal or lesser size. (These cannons can only fire once before needing to cool-down and usually takes 30 to 45 minutes before it can fire again. If a situation is dire, they can be made to fire before this cooling cycle is complete. (However, doing so runs the risk of permanently damaging the weapon system.)

The ships additional armament of the 155mm and 105mm cannons are far more effective at destroying corvettes and frigates but can still engage destroyer-class ships. Though its anti-fighter and anti-munition defenses are impressive, its suffers from having light armor and therefore does not handle well when faced with prolonged heavy combat against other combat vessels.

To note: The Acolyte is also equipped with the C-1's signature Deflector Band Shielding System. This shield produces a very strong magnetic field that can repel or divert objects and charged particles. It's area of affect is limited however and it has little to no effect at the top or bottom of the ship. This shield is mostly used to defend against direct impact as it can influence the trajectory of a kinetic round to keep it from hitting the armor head on. (It is particularly powerful right at the sides of the ship where the band is located, but quickly dissipates the further one moves from them.)

The high-output Laser-globe defense system is powerful enough to damage fighters and other non-shielded strike-craft as well as target strike-craft munitions.

(As mentioned, it is lightly armored and therefore relies heavily on its defensive weapons and shielding systems. It's speed and maneuverability also makes it a difficult target to hit with long-range heavy weapons.)

    Weapons Loadout:

    2: 250mm cannon turrets (dual-bore Rail-guns)
    2: Missile Bays (x32 LRM's)
    8: L2 Torpedo Launchers
    2: 155mm cannon turrets(dual-bore)

(Additional Space available to house Special Units)

    2: Medium Drop-ship
    3: GPX units

    Stored Munitions:

-250mm rail-guns typically fire traditional penetrating rounds. However (with the use of SPA generators) they can also fire short-range plasma rounds.
-250mm can also be armed to fire long-range, anti-ship missiles.
-155mm fires high-velocity explosive rounds or armor-piercing rounds selectively
-75mm fires proximity explosive rounds but can also fire traditional munitions
    -30mm fires proximity explosive rounds

    Defensive Capabilities:

    -Medium Particle Shields
    -Deflector Band Shielding
    -Moderate Armor
    -High-output laser globe defense system
    -ECM
    -ECCM

    Special Equipment:

    -SPA Generator (Corsair Refueling Only)
    -FTL Device
    -Hangar bays
    -Small-scale manufacturing bay

    Additional Notes:
The Bernein-class Carrier of the C-1 is designed to be used as a scouting vessel and to support fleet operations.

Due to its role as a long-range scout ship, it is capable of prolonged voyages and is self-sustaining as it has refining and production modules vital for refitting and repairing damaged strike-craft.

It is not a very large carrier vessel as its size and weight places it into the light-cruiser category.

This ship has decent defenses against strike-craft but is not designed or intended to be used in direct combat. However, if it does happen to be confronted by the enemy, it is no push over as it possess 2 destroyer-class rail-guns. These guns have two options of firing either traditional rail-gun munitions or plasma rounds. These plasma rounds are based upon the SPA generator and when released will quickly melt through most armor. The lingering radiation and thermal signature makes future targeting of the ship (specifically that spot) easier. (Very effective against smaller ships such as frigates where this thermal energy causes far more destruction.)

In addition to the plasma rounds, the 250mm rail-gun can also be loaded with conventional anti-ship missiles. With this, the ship can fire these lethal weapons at far greater speeds thus increasing accuracy, decreasing time-to-target thus reducing enemy defensive capabilities, and allowing for far greater impact.

Its fighters and bombers are excellent for use against enemy supply-line vessels and can even be used against frigate-class ships.

However, its fighters are not capable of dealing significant damage to destroyer-class vessels and the Carrier itself is susceptible to groups of enemy corvettes, assault frigates, and/or destroyers.

It can usually evade or retreat from larger vessels if detected with its powerful thrusters or FTL device.

(To note: This unit, though part of the Rapid Response Squadron, does not share the same formation as that of the other combat ships formations. It remains at distance, away from the other units, in order to remain hidden. From its perch away from the combat, it deploys fighters and bombers and aids in relaying enemy positions to the RRS-3 fleet.)

    Additional Notes:
A new Cruiser-class model just recently entering service within the C-1's space forces, this vessel is constructed to deal with any and all forms of enemy warships. With an impressive arsenal of rapid-fire guns and a lethal payload of torpedo weaponry, there is little that this ship cannot threaten. This offensive capability is also matched by an equally impressive defense of reinforced armor and shields giving it additional longevity during intense combat operations; though when compared to other designs, its armor rating is considered slightly lower. However, in response to its lower armor rating, it is also nimble enough to be used as an escort and for various other operations where it may be required to respond quickly. With this in mind, it also houses a single squadron of SF-9's for additional support.

Believe me, At Mach 7, you better be scared of that!)

250mm rail-guns typically fire traditional penetrating rounds. However (with the use of SPA generators) they can also fire short-range plasma rounds.

155mm can fire high-velocity explosive rounds or Penetrator rounds selectively.

75mm fires explosive fragmentation rounds and traditional armor penetrating explosive rounds.

    30mm fires proximity explosive rounds.

Torpedo warheads include kinetic, nuclear, E-warfare, and gravity.

    Defensive Capabilities:
-Heavy or thick armor along all vital areas of the ship
    -C-1 Deflector-band Shielding
    -Particle Shielding
-Heavy Armor defensive along the sides of the ship. (The wing looking things)

    Special Equipment:
    -Long-range FTL
    -Hangar Bay: (5: Corsair-C Fighters)
    -Small-scale manufacturing bay
    -SPA Generator

    Additional Notes:
The Lance-class Heavy Cruiser is designed for combat first and foremost. It is not limited with regards to this and thrives both at range and in the middle of a battlefield. Its weapons are arranged so that, should it find itself surrounded, it would have a complete 360 degree field of fire. There are only two "blind-spots" with regards to this coverage but those are also covered by lick layers of heavy armor and still remains in the direct line of fire of the ships missile armaments and 75mm cannons.

Its most powerful weapons are the two short-range Ion cannons that take up the sides of the ship. Though they have lengthy cool-down times and recharge rates, they are incredibly powerful and lethal. The designated Lancer-type weapon is synonymous with the way the weapon fires. Unlike most weapons systems that fire a temporary beam of energy, this system actually extends a spear of energy outward. Its effects are not as instant as other Particle weapons but it does have the added benefit of greater control. (Basically, it extends a massive energy blade from the ship.) The damage is most concentrated at close to mid-range but it still has the potential of causing damage beyond this effective range. In some cases, this beam can be dispersed and cover an even greater swath of space at the expense of damage potential.

(The forked extensions that protrude from the ion cannon are used to concentrate and focus the beam. It can even make the beam curve to an extent. In essence, it is a large gravitational lens that allows it to moderately control the way the beam acts. It can either be concentrated and thus have greater penetration, or it can be dispersed to cover a larger area. Concentrated= longer range and better penetration; used to get through heavy shields at mid-range / Dispersed=Shorter, shotgun type effect; usually good at destabilizing shields and getting rid of smaller units and strike-craft.)

The ship itself has a single hangar that houses fighters for use in scouting, defense, and support operations. Though it possess adequate targeting and sensory systems, it's effective targeting range is limited to Close and mid-range only. It requires these fighters to relay targeting coordinates for long-range engagements.

Despite not fitting the true nature of a command vessel, the "Cronos" has taken on such a role within the 801st Rapid Response Squad as it can keep pace and react accordingly with fleet operations.

It's a great combat vessel, but it relies on others to get the most out of its command-ship status. In fact, its only limitation is that it does not have the same Tactical Capability as most other ships. (In other words, this thing is only good for one thing and one thing only.)

PS: The gravity Torpedo creates a strong pocket of gravitational force that can cause instability in shields, electro magnetic interference, and can even cause mild structural degradation due to strong variances in gravitational fields. Also lethal to interior personnel that may be thrown against a wall when it goes off. The warhead pretty much burns itself out in that one instant but for that one instant, and in that general pocket of space, it creates a very powerful effect.)

    Additional Notes:
The Vespree-class Battleship is a battleship in name only. It is almost the same size as a dreadnought but possesses three key points that have allowed it to be classified into the smaller category. The first of these is the ships speed and maneuverability. Thanks in part to its two massive directional thrusters, the ship can position itself and alter its course far more readily than most other battleships of the same size. Also, the ships ability to support in direct combat, where most dreadnoughts would remain stationed in the rear also played a part in its designated class. The final reason why it was classified as a Battleship is strictly political. Due to the construction of multiple dreadnoughts back in the C-1 home galaxy at the time of submission for the plans, an argument arose whether or not there were too many dreadnought-class vessels being constructed at one time. Instead of canceling or halting current construction operations, the Vespree was given a unique classification as a heavy battleship. (It really didn't really fool anyone. It is smaller, but it might as well be classified as a pocket Dreadnought.)

The FLAIR Cannons: "Fire Light And Intense Radiation": These cannons are the most powerful traditional guns equipped aboard the Vespree. They are kin to the Acolyte destroyers particle cannons but are roughly twice its size and has nearly 3x the penetration and range. Though their fire rate is still roughly one shot per 30 minutes, they are able to be flash cooled by dumping particles from its shield reserves resulting in a much faster recharge rate (Not very often used). They each possess their own dedicated SPA reactor and can even be made to adjust their output for whatever target it may be firing upon.

Each blast has the potential of destabilizing shields and in tests there has always been some form of thermal transmission through shields. The lingering radiation is highly lethal to organic matter and can also interfere with lightly protected or unprotected electronic equipment. (hazardous for smaller, unprotected, strike-craft to fly through this radiation band after firing.)

The largest and most powerful weapons equipped upon the Vespree are its two V-2 Takion Cannons. These monsters of technology are even larger variants of the FLAIR cannon. In truth, they are Ion Cannons infused with SPA particles. Their range puts them into category of siege-class weaponry and they can very effectively cut multiple destroyers and frigates in half and severely damage or destroy a cruiser with a single shot. The only draw back to this weapon is that it takes a minimum of 2 weeks to recharge the system.

The Vespree's onboard F1-11 Fort shield is similar to that of traditional particle shields but instead of venting these particles and thus being unable to recapture them, this system uses a Dispersal Recycling System that vents these particles and then captures them in a looping gravitational field. What this allows the shield to do is not only reuse and maintain these particles (thus increasing the shields durability and longevity) but also allows the shields to extent their range many times further than the other traditional shields can. The shields range is wide enough that is can actually allow smaller vessels to reside safely within. However, in order to allow ships to fire through this defensive barrier, the shield must allow small holes to be presented. The timing is automated between the ships within and the fort shield generator as the generator will produce a small hole from which the ships gun is to fire through. (This means, despite being protected within this shield, any ships within will have their fire-rate drastically reduced as to allow the projectiles to escape the shield.) (As with all particle shields: slow moving objects can manage to pass through them with little interference.)

The only other drawback to the F1-11 shield is that it can still be breached by slow moving fighters and enemy ships. Additionally, with every subsequent impact from high-energy or charged particle weapons, the shield generator itself will begin to absorb thermal energy. If enough thermal energy manages to saturate the shields particles, the generator can be forced to shut down to protect itself from permanently damaged.

The Point Defense Shields are also part of the Vespree's impressive defenses. This shield generator is a super-concentrated version of the dispersal shields. However, unlike that of the Fort Shield, this generator concentrates the particles into a solid plate of Ionized Gas. The thermal level of which means that it only lasts for a few seconds but within that time this shield can vaporize most known elements. Because of this, it also dissipates energy weapon fire with just as much ease. The drawback to this shield system is that it quickly overheats with repeated use and can only sustain itself for short periods of time. (Used for emergencies or when the ship is targeted by anti-capital ship weapons.)

The Combat-grade Laser-globe defense system increases the output of the lasers to take out enemy fighters and bombers. They are moderately effective against lightly shielded strike-craft and munitions.

The directional nuclear propulsion engines are large components at the rear sides of the vessel. Installed within are multiple gravitational repulsion devices and highly durable material. When uses, a small nuclear warhead is detonated and the energy of the blast of is then used to attain immediate momentum; subsequent detonations further increase the ships velocity. Because they are directional, the ship can easily maneuver itself with the use of this system. There are limitations to this though in that it is not to be used near friendly units and its use also greatly increases the risk of being detected by the enemy. However, in the middle of combat, it is a vital piece of equipment that aids the ship to react to an ever-changing battlefield. (To note: Normal plasma thrusters are also built into these components. The difference being, they do not possess the same raw output that the nuclear explosions provide.)

Because of the ships size, it has ample space to install additional components and is a completely self-sustaining unit. It can manufacture is own material and even houses an entire contingent of commandoes for special operations. The mid-sized hangar holds a single squadron of fighters and 2 transport craft, but also has the potential to house a secondary squadron. Due to its tactical importance, the Vespree is one of the few combat vessels to be considered for Command & Control operations.

(Against the same tech level as the C-1, Initial impact (with regards to circumstances) would result in 1 or two cruisers being taken out of combat immediately (Takion cannons), 2 to 4 destroyers taken out of combat (FLAIR Cannons or as collateral of Takion cannons) and before the fort-shield falls, possibly another heavy cruiser and/or smaller battleship (FLAIR Cannons, 16" Omni-cannons, and 250mm AC cannons). Frigates and smaller units don't even stand a chance (16" Omni-cannons, Nuclear warheads, 250mm cannons, Long-range anti-ship missiles and torpedoes, and pin-point accurate laser defenses. Of course this statistic varies based upon individual technologies. The only problem facing it in terms of capability is its slow acceleration, but then again it is a battleship after all ;)

    Mission Role:
    Used exclusively to transport cargo.

    Weapons Loadout:
    None

    Stored Munitions:
    None

    Defensive Capabilities:
    None

    Special Equipment:
1: Drone Bay*: 1 Cargo Drone

    Additional Notes:
The Tayeo-class cargo hauler is the most commonly used, non-FTL, vessel of the C-1 fleet. As they do not possess an FTL drive they operate exclusively within close-proximity to stationary platforms or industrial sectors, and/or where jump gates are setup.

What allows them to make up for this limitation in FTL is the ease and quickness at which they operate. By allowing clients to fill the cargo pods themselves and at their own pace. This ship needs only to show up, stow the pod or pods along its holding channel and then move on to its designation. It could essentially be considered a space locomotive as the length of the ship is only limited to the number of pods expected for transport. Despite the mass of these pods, this ship still possess rather decent acceleration. Of course there is a limit to the effective weight that the ship can transport, but in most cases it has little issue seeing to demands.

    * The Drone bay of this ship can be setup to house a "Mobile FTL Drive". These drives are the typical answer by the C-1 for transporting non-FTL vessels to specific locations. They are pre-charged drives that are transported to a non-FTL vessel where they are then superficially installed. They are only used to get a vessel to their intended work place and then are removed to be reused on the next vessel.

    Weapons Loadout:
    3: Pop-up, Point-Defense Turrets
    2: Laser-Globe Defenses

    Stored Munitions:
The Point-defense turrets use typical, high-velocity munitions.

    Defensive Capabilities:
-Reinforced Armor Plating along vital areas
    -Medium Shielding
    -Heavy Forward Emergency Shield Generator

    Special Equipment:
    -Long-range FTL.
-One hangar bay capable of housing two small transport craft.
    -Special Forces Security Detail.

    Additional Notes:
The primary transport for V.I.P. personnel of the C-1, the Lark is designed and built for security and comfort with many amenities and defensive systems.

It has 1 lounge area, a small recreational area, and up to 8 suites for other dignitaries and V.I.P.'s to stay.

At the front of the ship is the main office where diplomats or other parties can discuss business. In order to properly protect those within, a high-powered defensive shielding system is in place that completely protects the front of the ship. If anything were to occur, this office has easy access to the hangar bay and escape pods should escape become necessary.

This is not a military-class vessel. As per standard protocol of C-1 Ships it is built to defend against and withstand attacks to a degree. However, it does not possess the means to retaliate. If confronted it's only option is to rely on escort ships or flee.

There are only a few of these in the entire C-1 Corporation as they are built and operated to a very strict code. Since one of the intended purposes is for diplomatic missions, the ships most vital aspect is the protection and security of dignitaries as the repercussions of failing to do so could be immense.

    C-1 Technological Achievements

    AI Technology:

    Advanced Containment Technology:

    Ship Armor
C-1 ship armor is created and composed of various layers of natural and synthetic materials and is designed to defend against both kinetic and thermal energy weapons fire. The first layer of this armor, and the key to the defensive properties of C-1 ship armor, is a ceramic-like coating that is highly resistant to thermal energy and can dissipate this energy through the surface of the armored layer with relative ease.

In addition to its ability to transfer thermal energy throughout its surface, it is also just as effective at absorbing and dispersing the kinetic energy of projectiles. When struck by kinetic weapons, this armor will fracture and scatter this directed energy across a broad surface area. However, during the process of fracturing, the friction is often capable of forcing this material to melt and thus reform itself. Of course the resulting layer is far less resistant to future attack and must be replaced. As an added note: the special composition of the material is designed to convert thermal energy into light energy which aids to radiate heat far more quickly.

The second layer of this armor is a small one molecule thick band of gold that is used to absorb incoming and outgoing electronic radiation and heat. There are in fact several microscopic layers of material such as lead and other synthetic versions of similar material used for radiation and electronic protection of interior systems and personnel. The benefit of which is the ability of the armor to aid in masking the ships emissions while also reducing incoming signals.

The final and most pronounced of material used in the armors creation is that of a carbon nanotube substructure. This layer of material is several times stronger than steel as it has the added benefit of being able to contour to kinetic energy and reform its structure automatically. What this means is that should a round manage to break through the ceramic armor layer, this layer can absorb the excess energy and even if it is pierced, it can oftentimes repair small fissures within its own frame.

    Armor Technology:
The C-1 has developed much of its defensive technologies in tandem with their own offensive weapons. What they have achieved thus far is a means to create armor by fusing Carbon with ceramic material. Where as the Carbon nano-tube layer can absorb a great deal of kinetic energy, the Ceramic is able to better disperse kinetic energy and is also highly resilient towards thermal-based weapons.

Within this ceramic composite, is a special material that is capable of changing thermal energy into light. Moderately powerful lasers are easily deflected by this layer, but for more powerful beams this layer will actually vaporize and create a fine plume of refractive material that helps to diffract and deflect a large amount of the beams energy. In effect, hitting the ships armor with lasers creates a thick smokescreen that helps to block the rest of the beam.

Creating this armor is also rather simple as it is manufactured in sheets and pasted onto a ship. Within manufacturing facilities, the Carbon nano-tubes and Ceramic material are blended and kept under intense heat. When a ship requires armor, a layer of this liquid-state material is then pressed and cut into shape. Before it even has a chance to cool, this material is pressed into place upon the ship. Even additional repairs are made simple as you need only cut the area out and then refill it with a new layer that will adhere to the remaining armor around it. (Clarification: if you heat it up, it will actually fuse flush to the other armor around it.)

    Shield Technology
The C-1 Corporation has developed two similar but vastly different shielding systems that aid in protecting its ships from harm. The first of these is the C-1's Deflector Band Shielding System. This simple magnetic field shielding system is used by the C-1 to protect a ship and its crew from small debris and radiation that is present within space.

This system is powerful enough to force potential threats away from the hull by emitting a strong electromagnetic field. The repulsion forces of this quickly and effortlessly trap particles and materials and forces them to divert their trajectory away from the shield band. This system is by default built into every ship, however, military-grade variants are far more pronounced among combat ship designs.

The second form of shielding system is that of the C-1 Vented Particle Shields. This shielding system is designed to capture vented particles within the ships gravitational and magnetic field where this gaseous material is condensed to form a potential barrier against energy weapons and projectiles.

Though this shield is effective at dispersing particle and energy-based weapons fire, it is not designed to stop kinetic energy projectiles. At best, this shield is able to absorb some of the kinetic energy through friction and slow the rounds. However, it also has the effect of altering a projectiles trajectory because of the tidal forces at work within the gravity field holding the shields particles together.

Various forms of this system are in place as well as an extended range particle shield that is able to encompass several ships within it. One of the most advanced forms of this shielding system is the condensed projection shielding system that actually coverts these particles into a solid plasma wall to temporarily negate enemy heavy weapons fire.

    Shield Technology:
Particle Dispersal Shielding is the most common shield technology of the C-1. These particles are created via the onboard shield generator and then stored. When the need for them arises, they are vented out where they are captured within the graivitation field of the ship. What this does is forms a thick layer of dense atmosphere that has the same properties as that of a liquid.

When struck by energy weapons, the thermal energy is dispersed throughout the surface of this layer. When struck by kinetic energy, the shield can rapidly slow and/or alter a projetciles velocity and angle of impact. In addition, this layer of particles also acts as a form of cloak in that it masks a ships thermal signature behind it while also reducing the ships emissions.

Despite its benefits, these particles can be lost during combat and therefore must be constantly supplied by the shield generator. If the generator cannot provide enough particles to equal the amount lost, holes can begin to appear in its defenses.

    F.T.L. (Faster Than Light) Technology:
Though many factions possess a form of FTL technology, the C-1 Corporation has developed a rather exceptional variety of this universal system. In its most traditional form, C-1 FTL drives creates a gravitational field around the vessel. This gravity is used to stabilize the structure within and to also help support the transition of normal space phasing with that of hyperspace.

It is after this field has enveloped the ship that the forward area of this field is condensed and made to form a singularity. Effectively, what is created is a breach in space-time similar to that of a black hole. The dark disk-shaped entry way often expels excess energy and particles in the form of flakes of light that have been compressed between the ships moving forward into the event horizon but is not close enough to be drawn in.

This gravitational anomaly exists for a short while but is extended long enough to allow for gravitational ripples to transition around the ships enveloping field so as to avoid causing varying stresses to be impacted upon the ships hull. By the end of this transition, the vessel is fully transferred into Hyperspace where the field then undulates to provide propulsion. Exiting hyperspace is a similar process yet in the reverse.

The newest version, referred to as Extended Range FTL, actually uses the massive gravitational forces of super black holds to draw the ship forward between two galactic bodies. Though initial propulsion is required to begin movement and draw the ship away from the closer of the two gravity wells, once caught within the well of the specified galaxy, the ship need only lock to that field and allow the well to draw the ship down towards it. This means that a normal FTL system that would normally require is own propulsion to reach a destination can now rely upon the existing slope of space-time to reach other galaxies far more quickly.

    Stealth Technology
The C-1 have developed many pieces of equipment that can aid in reducing a ships emissions. From ceramic armor that possesses absorbent material, to a plasma cooling system that captures excess heat when stealth is required, there are many ways that they have come to ensure that they are well hidden fro m

    Genetic Technology:
The C-1 has heavily invested in the development of biological research. Many of their advancements have led to near indefinite life spans and improvements to both the physical and mental capabilities of humans. Some of their most advanced forms of this technology involves the creation of artificial life forms.

Many biological alterations exist among the human race of the C-1. From newly developed hybrids to full artificially created humans and creatures, there is little limitation with regards to their developments. Even so, these creations are few as the actual practice is still regarded as pushing the bounds of human tampering. However, despite the taboo of creating living beings from scratch, the most common form of genetic engineering is that of enhancing preexisting human capabilities.

Gene Stasis: is the process of stopping the aging process and with the use of nano-machines can even reverse it and allow one to maintain an indefinite lifespan. However there are additional benefits of genetic alteration including increased physical and mental capability as well as healing abilities.

    AI/Organic Interface:
Within the early stages of advanced artificial intelligence, the C-1 quickly began developing innovative ways as to utilize and co-exist with this rapidly evolving technology. The most notable of these was the use of AI integration into organic beings. By implanting a small AI system into the hosts brain, both the AI and the host share the same body. Where as the host has dominant control over his or her body, the AI is able to support the bodies processes and to lend support to the host.

Since AI have been accepted as sentient living beings, this form of integration is not as commonplace as it once was. There are a few on both sides (both AI and Human alike) that do opt to unite their lives. This union is the ultimate form of Symbiotic relationship as the human host benefits greatly in terms of wellbeing and capability while the AI gains a sense of purpose or "enlightenment". The process is completely reversible and some AI do choose to retain their ability to transfer between their organic counterpart and a mechanical body.

    Long-range FTL:

A new form of faster than light travel that the C-1 is still developing. Though this technology is still in its infancy, there are prototype models of the device that are currently installed upon select ships. (One of these being installed upon the Sigil-Z)

Normal FTL systems of the C-1 are limited only by a vessels capacity to store energy. The larger the vessel, the more energy reserves they maintain. Even smaller fighters can be equipped with FTL drives by using high-output reactors and smaller high-end capacitors.

When activated, the ship's structure is encased inside of a field of energy which then transits this interior space into sub-space. The actual movement occurs not from the ships thrusters but from the shields undulating movements that allows it to burrow at increasing speed through this space. The actual reentry process creates a spectacular shower of color as the light spectrum of normal space interacts with that of sub-space.

    E.C.M. (Electronic Countermeasures)
The most typical means of blocking enemy tracking systems and communications is by flooding the immediate area with broadcasted signals. This system is powerful enough to block all forms of broadband communications and radar. In addition to this, there are several smaller systems that can be used as decoys with the same ECM system setup upon them to further confuse enemy target-tracking systems.

The downside to this system is that it exposes the vessel's existence to the enemy. However, the only means for an enemy to properly target the ship at this point is via visual identification.

    E.C.C.M. (Electronic Counter-Countermeasures)
The C-1's ECCM systems are designed to reduce enemy ECM systems by noting specific patterns of the broadcasted signals. They may not fully be capable of breaking through an ECM field, but the moment the enemy ship is spotted, this system works to narrow down the exact point and can continue to do so. It is highly effective, but requires visual identification of the targets current position to be of use.

    SPA Flares:
Residual particles of the SPA generator that are vented from the reactor as a defensive countermeasure. These particles can blind enemy sensors and even detonate incoming rounds and/or cause damage to close proximity units in pursuit of the fighter. They can mask the fighter momentarily via High-intensity light, IR interference, and Radiation. It is to be noted that this system is tied directly into the SPA generator and uses up reactor fuel. In most cases it can be used 3 times before beginning to take away from integrated SPA Cannon ammunition counts.

    Laser-globe Defenses:

The ultimate form of anti-munition weaponry, the Laser-globe defense system used by the C-1 is optimized for ship protection. Similar to most anti-threat laser devices, the laser-globe system has a specialized protective canopy that covers the delicate system below. In addition to this, they are commonly set to fire in quick pulses rather than an extended beam in order to destroy smaller munitions.

There are several versions of this system with increased output and performance however. While most are simply setup to destroy lightly armored munitions such as missiles and torpedo weaponry, the larger variants of this system are capable of being used just as effectively against enemy strike craft.

    Point-Defense Systems:
C-1 Point-defense turrets are typically smaller caliber weapons such as the general-purpose 12mm rapid-fire gun that optimizes rate of fire and reaction time over heavy damage. They are capable of independent operation as well as work together to form grids of defensive cross-fire. They are all capable of identifying, tracking, and engaging small projectile-based weaponry and can even be set to engage light strike-craft should the need arise.

    Automated Evasive Protocol:
In the event that a weapon system gains a lock-on to certain C-1 strike-craft, the units onboard AI can take direct control of the fighter and perform evasive actions as needed. This system has priority over any other action unless forcefully overridden by the pilot at the time. Included with this system is the ability to automatically identify and track enemy weapon targeting positions.

    C-1 Tactical Missile Pod Information:
Well, I figure I should clarify exactly what the Corsair "Probes" can do since they're about to be used to their full potential.

If anyone has ever seen the movie "Battleship", then you should all be aware of the nature of the alien lizards Peg-like weapons. Well, though the shape is similar (only real difference is the size and fins in back), these missiles have the ability to evade enemy weapons fire.

Lasers: They are lightly armored and as such can easily be destroyed via most small ship defensive laser systems. (Heck, any small-scale weapon system is weak against lasers anyway.)

Kinetic weapons: Being that most kinetic weapons (despite how advanced it is) has to have a barrel or hole to release the projectile; these missiles can easily evade most of these. However, it only works if the drone or other linked device has eyes-on that weapon. They cannot simply evade a target at its side as the forward sensors can only detect a 30 degree area cone in front of it. (So basically, if an enemy shows up at its side and shoots it (or "blind-sides" it) without having another missile or fighter spot the enemy ships gun, then it wont know it's there.)

When evasive maneuvers occur (and this is where it gets really interesting visually...) it will redirect one of its fins and thus push off and tumble out of the way (sort of like how the alien pegs moved when fired). However once done, it will then reverse its thrust and in the same instant will once again realign to target.

(Not a very good one, but the only visual similarity would be like if you were to take a bouncing ball and throw it around a room filled with various angles. It would be incredibly difficult for anything to keep track of it after that point... not impossible but certainly not something that most kinetic weapons would be able to keep up with.) In addition to this, the sensor remains active and can even maintain scans of targets or the areas as it is tumbling. (If anyone has played around with Call of Duty Modern Warfare, then you should know the I.M.S. and how its little bombs sensors work... if not I'll provide a link upon request)

Now remember that the C-1 has only had itself and its tech to practice with so there's no telling how other factions may counter this, but for the most part Kinetic Guns are not too good at defending against them if going head to head. Since a laser is able to create a beam and has almost zero time to target at close range, then there's little that the missile can do.

However, if intercepted by enemy weapons they do not actually blow up themselves (They only blow up if and when they reach their target or until told to do so otherwise.)

They can be cut in half and thus no longer able to maneuver and their explosive radius likely be made harmless to most armor, but still the camera could remain in tact (kinda pointless since it would not be able to maneuver anymore; but still possible); or if the front is hit then that particular missile's guidance will be taken offline but then it can still function using other missiles sensors or from direct control via the Corsairs AI or even the stored data and estimating the targets general location (best for larger slower moving targets obviously).

In essence, they are Kamikaze surveillance drones and within 2 meters around it is a definitive kill-zone for small craft or objects. Anything beyond that point up to an additional 1 meter is subject for debate. They have almost no penetrating potential against heavier ship armor and only moderate effect via a shaped-charge at the front.

Anyway, these are used against almost everything. Not powerful but if they can get close enough they can do some damage. That's why they come in two's. Where as the C-1's normal long-range missile is considered a normal missile in all regards (thus far more powerful), these smaller variants provide greater tactical options against fighters, enemy munitions, and ship weapons.

    C-1 Ship Equipment

    Strike-craft Weapons:

    12mm Rapid-fire Guns:

A light-caliber weapon that uses the same size round as certain field-infantry sniper rifles. As with all typical C-1 munitions, the projectile of this weapon has a built-in cone of material that converts to plasma upon detonation. Though considered inferior against moderate to heavy armor, it is powerful enough to penetrate light armor with ease. These weapons are commonly equipped upon lighter military vehicles and/or integrated as defensive systems.

    2Omm Rapid-fire Guns:
The most common weapon equipped upon C-1 Strike-craft, the 20mm rounds manufactured by the C-1 possess timed-explosive, penetrating warheads. With an identical design as that of an RPG, a cone of material is turned to plasma upon detonation, which results in incredible penetration of light armor. Additionally, the small fragments that are created by the detonation of the shell can also cause damage.

    75mm Auto-cannon: (Fighter/Bomber Variant)
Very few Strike-craft are large enough to field such a large caliber weapon. However, the C-1 often uses such craft to engage smaller enemy ships that would otherwise be too agile to catch with larger vessels. The 75mm Strike-craft Auto-cannon is rather similar to that of its ship-born counterparts. However, unlike those, the ones fitted to strike-craft are built with many additional systems relating to recoil compensation and suppression.

    Anti-fighter, Tactical Missiles (AFT-M's):
These unique weapons are specialized short-range, missiles that can be directly controlled by the onboard AI and can be used to engage enemy munitions, or strike-craft equally. They can also be effectively used against exterior devices upon a ships hull.

One is commonly enough to severely damage or destroy another fighter and thus normally used against other light strike-craft. However, when fired in groups of two or three, they can be just as lethal to larger units.

Aside from their offensive capabilities, they also provide a tactical advantage as each one is equipped with a high-performance optical targeting system. When linked to a ships computer system, they greatly increase the targeting and detection capability.

    (Stats: 2' penetration/ 2m Critical Damage/ 3m Moderate Damage)

    Anti-fighter, Short-range Missiles (AF-SRM):
Used by strike-craft and some larger vessels, the AF-LRM is intended to be used against lightly armored strike-craft. The source of its lethality is in the missiles explosive force and the shrapnel that follows it. However, unlike most missiles that simply spread this destructive force evenly, the C-1's anti-fighter missile expel directs the majority of its energy forward to create a shotgun-like pattern.

Even though it has a greater chance of being intercepted by enemy defensive systems, when one of these missiles gets to within lethal range of a fighter or bomber, destruction of the target is guaranteed.

    (Stats: 25m (15m spread) Critical Damage/ 5m (Radial Force)Moderate Damage)

    Anti-ship, Short-range Missiles (AS-SRM):
This anti-ship weapon is roughly the same design and shape as that of the fighter-based anti-fighter SRM, but serves a far different purpose. The Anti-ship SRM possesses a penetrating core made up of pure carbon. When the rear warhead detonates, this carbon rod is propelled forward at extreme velocity thus providing it increased penetration again small-ship armor.

    (Stats: 1m penetration/ 10m (15m spread) Light Damage)

    Anti-ship, Long-range Missiles (AS-LRM):
This Missile is similar in nature to that of the AS-SRM but is instead larger and possessing a secondary explosive warhead built within the carbon rod. Again, at the core of this weapon is a solid rod of carbon that is forced forward at speeds nearing that of some high-output rail-guns. Following impact against a ships armor, the internal warhead detonates and causes significant damage to internal parts of the targeted ship.

In addition to this, the carbon rod can be made to detonate before impact, thus spreading lethal cone-shaped wall shrapnel. This is often used against smaller ship designs who's armor is easily penetrated by these high-velocity carbon fragments.

    (Stats: 3m penetration/ 25m (4m spread) Critical Damage)

    T-L3 Torpedo Weapons:
Often equipped by bombers, the L3 series torpedoes are surprising lethal despite their small size. Unlike their larger counterparts, these weapons are carried into battle and released close to the enemy where upon they automatically align just before igniting their main thrusters. With the use of electronic countermeasures and slight evasive capabilities, they are far more capable of breaching through enemy defensive systems than typical strike-craft missiles. It is to be noted as well that the weapons primary propulsion system is capable of rapidity accelerating the torpedo to around Mach 12 given enough distance. In addition, there are also several variants of these weapons including Low-yield Thermonuclear Warheads, Penetrating Core Anti-ship, and E-Warfare packages.

    SPA Cannon (Corsair Fighter Only):
Being tied directly into certain fighters onboard SPA reactors, this is one of the most powerful strik-craft weapons available to the C-1. It is capable of firing a solid beam of vented charged particles that can easily cut through most known materials. The major limiting factor that continues to plague the C-1 with regards to fielding this system is towards limitations in creating enough fuel to supply them all.

Despite this single limitation, this weapon can easily burrow through 3 meters of heavy armor in less than 1 second. The residual radiation and thermal energy following this attack also means that other vessels can easily track and target the enemy ship. In certain situation, this radiation that is emitted has been known to cause significant interference with broadcasted communications.

    Corvette-Class Weapons:

    12mm Rapid-fire Guns (PDS):

The 12mm Rapid-fire Gun is a light caliber anti-threat weapon system designed and developed to engage and destroy enemy munitions and small strike-craft. With several platform variants, they all utilize the very same round as used by the C-1's Planetary Assault Forces and AAF.

    30mm Anti-Fighter Guns (AF Guns):
A heavy caliber anti-aircraft gun, the 30mm platform is highly lethal to any and all forms of strike-craft while still having the potential of causing certain damage to light corvettes. The rounds used by this system are far larger and more destructive than the 12mm PDS variant while also possessing a timed-delayed explosive fragmentation capability.

    75mm Auto-cannon:
The first stage of anti-ship/corvette weapon calibers utilized by the C-1. The 75mm auto-cannon can quickly laydown fire with lethal results. Though it may not have the means to penetrate the larger hulls of destroyers or cruisers, it is both effective against frigates and devastating against corvette vessels.

Thanks in part to its rapid-fire capabilities and versatile munitions, it is also the de' facto "Flak" cannon of the C-1 Corporation.

    105mm Auto-cannon:
The 105mm Auto-cannon is primarily used to engage enemy corvettes and mid-sized frigate-class vessels. With enough force to punch holes through the armor of most corvette ships, the timed delayed explosive force is incredibly lethal to such vessels. When used against Frigates however, it requires slightly more volume of fire.

    Anti-Fighter, Long-range Missiles:
The AF-LRM is a far larger and more powerful variant of the strike-craft AF-SRM. This system is capable of far more acceleration with the use of its enhanced propulsion system and increased payload volume.

    Anti-ship, Long-range Missiles:
As with the AF-LRM, the anti-ship variant utilizes the same fuselage while simply integrating the strike-craft Anti-ship penetrating core system. The size of the penetrating core is nearly three times the size thus increasing its overall kinetic force exponentially.

T-L2 Torpedo Weapons ( Pandora-Class Hvy. Corvette Only):
Similar to that of the T-L3 model, the L2 variant simply expands upon the overall output of the payloads volume. It is roughly three times the size of the L3 model and thus the only corvette to field this weapon system is the Pandora Heavy Corvette. This is the typical torpedo weapon equipped by frigates where in the larger vessels frame allows for an onboard launcher to provide an initial boost to the torpedo's velocity.

    Frigate-Class Weapons:

    155mm Auto-cannon:

The default main guns of the C-1's Frigate-class vessels, the 155mm has excellent penetration and fire-rate for its size making it not only effective when used against corvettes, but also most other frigate-class vessels when fired en' mass.

    250mm Rail-gun (Raider-class Patrol Ship Only):
Not a common weapon system fielded by Frigate-class vessels, the only unit of this class that actually equips such a weapon is that of the Raider-class Patrol Frigate. As it stands, these fixed weapons are undeniably lethal to any vessel as they are indeed classified as anti-cruiser capital ship guns.

    Destroyer-Class Weapons:

    L-3 Laser-globe Defense:

    200mm Auto-cannon:

The 200mm auto-cannon is the first of the C-1's heavy cannon weaponry to infuse coil-based magnetic acceleration support. Much like a rail-gun, the magnetic coils running the length of the barrel provide an instant magnetic field that pulls and repels a projectile forward and out of the bore. However, unlike that of rail-guns this system does not actually initialize acceleration; it merely acts to increased the projectiles maximum velocity.

    Particle Cannon (Acolyte-Class Destroyer Only):
The most lethal weapon system currently installed upon a destroyer chassis, the Acolyte Destroyer Particle Cannon is considered the larger cousin of the SPA Cannon currently equipped upon the C-1 Corsair fighter. With independent SPA Reactors providing for the beams, each blast from this weapon has enough thermal and reactive energy within them to tear straight through most known substances. However, due to the fact that it is essentially a plasma-based weapon system, its range is far more limited than most other weapon platforms thus requiring close-combat conditions in order to be used effectively.

    Cruiser-Class Weapons:

    L-2 Laser-globe Defense:

    12mm Rapid-fire Guns (PDS):

    30mm Anti-fighter Guns (AF Guns):

    75mm Auto-cannon (Anti-corvette):

    105mm Auto-cannon (Anti-corvette/frigate):

    155mm Auto-cannon (Anti-frigate):

    200mm Auto-cannon (Anti-frigate/destroyer):

    250mm Rail-gun (Anti-destroyer/cruiser):

    250mm Omni-cannon Rail-gun (Bernein-class Carrier Only):

    285mm Omni-cannon Rail-gun (Anti-Cruiser):

Lancer-type Ion Cannon (Lance-class Hvy. Combat Cruiser Only):

    Anti-fighter, Short-range Missiles:

    Anti-fighter, Long-range Missiles:

    Anti-ship, Long-range Missiles:

    T-L2 Torpedo Weapons:

    T-L1 Torpedo Weapons:

Level 1 class torpedoes are large single tko weapons. They are nearly the size of a large bomber and as such possess far greater capacities with regards to the yield of their warheads. Being very costly pieces of equipment they are seldom used. One unique feature of this torpedo system is the fact that they are equipped with single-use FTL drives. This means that these weapons can easily cross great distances in seconds to intercept targets at range.

It is to be noted, that these weapons are understandably destructive and can easily render a light cruiser to scrap. However, more often than not, these weapons are reserved for far larger game.

    Battleship-Class Weapons:
    L-1 Laser-globe Defense:

    12mm Rapid-fire Guns (PDS)

    30mm Anti-fighter Guns (AF Guns)

    75mm Auto-cannon:

    105mm Auto-cannon:

    155mm Auto-cannon:

    200mm Auto-cannon:

    250mm Rail-gun:

    285mm Omni-cannon Rail-gun:
    (Please refer to Cruiser-Class weapons)

    406mm (16inch) Omni-cannon Rail-gun:

The ultimate form of the C-1's patented Omni-cannon, these 16inch guns have at their disposal numerous payloads in which to engage the enemy. As with all Omni-cannons, the bore of this weapon has the ability to expand or contract the diameter of the bore. Because of this, it can easily allow rounds of various make and model to be fired.

Payloads Include: Armor piercing, Explosive, Incendiary Plasma, Laser rounds, and long-range missiles.

    800mm FLAIR Cannons:
The most powerful turret-mounted Main-gun seen among the entire C-1 Corporations arsenal. This weapon is appropriately named for the nature of its offense. Fire, Light, And Intense Radiation. This description of the weapons beam is but a watered-down depiction of its true potential.

In essence, this weapon fires a concentrated beam of ionized particles compressed into what essentially becomes a solid beam of matter. The effects of this are similar to taking the combined force of a nuclear weapon and concentrating its energy into a single point. Because of this, there is next to nothing that it cannot burn through.

V-2 Takion Cannons (Vespree-class Battleship Only):

    Cluster:

    C-1 Auto-Cannons:

The C-1's Auto-cannons are designed with a mechanical reloading system that uses the recoil of the weapons firing to rearm the system. When firing, the recoil of the cannon forces the second barrel of the weapon to slide forward and as it is doing so, it chambers a round. When this bore then fires, it repeats the processes.

Because it is such a simple system, it is very reliable and effectively allows for greater rates of fire over time. It is most widely noted for its simplicity in that it is able to be scaled to various sizes with little deviation to the design itself. Note: backup system are in place should the auto-loader become damaged

    Torpedo Weapons:

    Nuclear Torpedo:
A typical torpedo weapon that has a nuclear warhead payload. Though it has only moderate effect against heavy large vessels, it can easily destroy most smaller ships and certainly poses a threat to smaller strike-craft and corvettes.

Gravity Torpedo: Can create a concentrated pocket of intense gravity resulting in the instability of enemy shields and ship structural integrity. Also, this effect is able to be felt through a ships frame thus potentially causing damage to interior components and crew members.

Kinetic Torpedo: A solid torpedo weapon made of armor plated material that impacts a target at near light-speed. It does not have an FTL drive like the other torpedo weapons and thus must be pre-accelerated via a ships torpedo tube before its main drive kicks in.

    Electronic Warfare Torpedo:
This torpedo has three possible uses. The first is the ability to emit a powerful EMP field. The second is the ability to emit various frequencies that are used to blind enemy sensors and thus reduce enemy weapon accuracy. The final aspect is that this torpedo can be used to hack an enemy ships AI or computer system. Each torpedo has an advanced computer system that can work to overload or convert an enemy ships computer system. Though the more advanced AI's are able to ward off a single torpedo with ease, multiple torpedoes can work together en mass to shutdown or even override even those powerful systems.

PAF and AAF Ground Forces Equipment

    General Information:

The C-1's ground forces are grouped into two divisions each run independently from the other but who are both united as they share the same purpose. To one side, you have the space born Planetary Assault Forces (P.A.F.). To the other you have the ground forces known as the Atmospheric Assault Forces (A.A.F.). Whereas the PAF is comprised entirely of aerial and space vehicles, the AAF is comprised of atmospheric aircraft and land vehicles as well as traditional ground forces.

The PAF is typically the first to engage a planets defenses through the use of strategic orbital bombardment and through the use of atmospheric reentry vehicles. However, during certain circumstances or when a planets defenses have been reduced enough to allow it, the AAF are then deployed from the PAF orbiting ships to engage the remaining enemy forces upon the planets surface directly.

    C-1 Personnel Equipment:
The most notable aspect of C-1 combat personnel is the fact that they are all enhanced biologically. Though some have undergone cybernetic enhancement, all of them possess nearly twice the normal physical capability of the typical human and can sustain injuries that would otherwise kill most others. They are not immortal however and a well placed shot to the head or heart can and will kill them.

Because of this, the C-1 strongly believes in stealth and finesse over apparent defenses. Despite this stark contrast in belief with regards to their overly zealous stance of well armed and armored ships, C-1 ground forces are more geared towards keeping from being shot than actually sustaining injuries. Despite this, C-1 power armor is still resilient enough to ward off most projectile weapons.

The initial defense of C-1 personnel armor is a layer of ceramic and reactive plates that sits over an under suite that protects them from radiation and the vacuum of space. These exterior panels not only help to mask the wearers thermal signature, with the aid of the under suit, but also has a moderate chameleon-like effect with special micro-displays portraying the background through its surface.

When provided an electrical charge the under suit can act as additional muscle thus increasing their physical capability and magnetic attachment points along the exterior provides anchors for whatever equipment the individual soldier may bring with them for the operation.

If a soldier is hit by enemy fire, this under suit should be able to absorb most kinetic damage by first attempting to stop the projectile via the armor plates and then (if that does not work) it will contour to the force to ensure penetration of the round does not occur. If the projectile penetrates far enough however and an internal injury is sustained or bleeding occurs, the suite will then restrict the blood flow and movement of the effected region. In dire situations, where the occupants vitals have flat-lined, the suite will then begin automated CPR procedures where it will tense the body and attempt to restart the heart and/or maintain blood flow while the helmet forces oxygen into his or her lungs until medical officers can reach them.

3 Varieties of Combat Armor: (All links are for reference only and I am in no way taking credit for any of their unique designs. Each image and content therein belongs to their respective creators.)

Traditional Combat Armor: Common Foot soldiers of the C-1 are issued this default style military armor suit. Worn over the under suit that provides radiation and elemental protection while enhancing physical capability, this style of protection is designed to provide adequate protection to vital areas of the body while not restricting a soldiers range of motion. Each suite has numerous customizable possibilities though all of them have the same capability regarding IR and Laser-range detection systems. In addition to this, the suites onboard computer ties directly into the soldiers equipment and HUD thus allowing for a very intuitive feel when operating. There are many varieties of this suite but they all share the same general concept and purpose; that being easily mass produced, light weight, and adequate for operations.

Pilot Armor: Pilot's are issued a special, light-weight variety of armor that fits over the under suite. It is made of thick layers of responsive carbon nano-tubes and is designed to catch and absorb kinetic energy from fast-traveling debris and projectiles. In addition to this, it is also used to restrict blood flow during high G maneuvers thus keeping its human occupant from passing out. Due the nature of combat in space, debris is a very real threat to personnel not properly protected. If a situation calls for a pilot to evacuate his or her fighter, their suite has to be able to protect and survive a collision with small objects moving at a high rate of speed. This suite is designed to do just that. Despite the fact that it is not intended for such a task, it is also just as capable at stopping most traditional forms of military-grade fire.

Commando Armor: This (specifically the last two) group of armor is reserved for special forces and for Commando teams. Within this list are several varieties each specifically designed to operate in a given theatre though all working to the same end. Despite most individuals wearing this suit having undergone some form or fashion of cybernetic enhancement, the built-in machinery of each piece can more than quadruple the power of such implants. The greatest of which can easily lift up to 4 tons with little worry of straining its capabilities. These suites are covered in multiple layers of armor plating and have hydraulic and motorized functions tied into an advanced computer system.

Each suit has the electronic capacities of a fighter craft and the durability of a tank. Despite not possessing the same freedom of movement as that of the lesser variety suits, they make up for it with reaction speed as the computer aboard allows the suite to respond with little input from the actual occupant. In fact, during emergency situations, the suite itself can become automated should the soldier within become incapacitated.

It is to be known, that individual soldiers have a many number of freedoms with regards to the customization of their suite. The C-1, despite having a set standard, allows an individual whatever measure they deem necessary to utilize their equipment to the best of their abilities. The only time that these customizations are restricted is during special operations that may have limitations on possible load outs.

    C-1 Personnel Weapons:

Capson BR-25 (SMG, Combat Rifle, LMG, ect.):

A 10.5mm Battle Riffle that has a default adjustable barrel that can be extended for long-range or retracted for close-quarters. Many various and customizable parts can be included with it and several parts are made so that a soldier can make changes to his or her weapon in the field. For a compact SMG, the forward barrel can be detached and then replaced with the SMG forward grip and barrel in less than 5 seconds. (Basically, snap and click different parts to make it do different things; same with scopes and any other accessories.)

    Capson HG-13:
The typical sidearm of C-1 forces. Like most Capson weapons, the HG-13 is a rapid fire weapon that can house over 23 9mm rounds. Like the BR-25, it has the same capacity for in the field alterations. In fact, the actual frame of the gun itself is the lower trigger group for the Capson LRS Sniper Rifle.

    Capson LRS Sniper Rifle:
A 13mm hand held cannon that can fire a lethal guided projectile and is used for both anti-personnel and anti-vehicle operations. As stated, the lower trigger group is a Capson HG-13 and when not required, the actual weapon can be made to fold up into itself to greatly reduce its size for transport and maneuvering.

    Barrow's AN-3X Anti-Vehicle Launcher:
A mid-sized launcher roughly four feet in length that has a tree round rotating chamber equipped with 3ft x 6inch missiles. Each missile is self-contained and once launched can maintain an initial target or be set to find a target once deployed. Though they are not particularly effective against very heavy armor, they can easily damage or destroy most known air and ground vehicles.

    C-1 Handheld weapon ammunition:
Almost all C-1 military anti-personnel weapons fire miniature explosive warheads. Much like that of an RPG, each bullet has a cone of material that (once detonated) will deform and turn into plasma thus creating a highly lethal, penetrating jet.

There are few laser-based handheld weapons, but the more advanced forms of ammunition (such as heavy weapons) possesses the ability to track and change their flight trajectory in transit to the target. (in other words, Micro-Missiles)

    Grenades:
    Drone:

Used for surveillance and is also filled with explosive material to destroy targets. (Once Deployed, this grenade flies under its own power, scanning the area, and can be set to lock onto targets.)

    Incendiary:
Used to create an area of flame for eliminating soft-targets and as an area denial weapon. (Works wonders in tight spaces or hallways.)

    Smart Grenade:
A sensor-based mobile explosive weapon that can track and respond to targets. Though it has the potential to perform the same function as a typical grenade, the C-1 Smart grenade is able to roll or rebound off of structures but can also secrete a sticky substance that allows it to stick to said objects. This is automated and the grenade will wait for a target to near it or possibly pick it up before it detonates. (Not widely used around C-1 owned assets or operations because they can be a little iffy about friend and foe.) (One example of its use is to shoot this grenade on a ceiling and then waiting for an enemy to walk under where it drops down on top of them. Or letting it bounce off a wall and then sticking to someone... or having it role and stick to someone's foot.)

    C-1 Formations and Tactics

    Fleet Formations:
    Strike-craft Formations:
    Delta Formation:
A V-shaped flight pattern, commonly with the squadron leader taking the forward position. This Formation allows for concentrated attacks against enemy positions and larger vessels.

Broad Formation: A Line formation in which strike-craft align to one another's left and right flanks. This Formation allows for greater strafing capabilities when used and is preferred when fighting against evasive targets.

Escort Formation: Typically carried out by two or more units, this formation involves strike-craft and larger vessels to take positions at the escorted ships flanks. Only the front and rear of the ship is left open to allow for unobstructed throttle control.

Support Formation: A formation that positions a ship or fighters just above and beyond the front of a ship and/or just below and behind the ship. It is used by scout ships and defense units as it offers an advantage towards tracking and engaging threats.

    Capital Ship Formations:
    Spearhead Formation:
A specialized offensive Formation used by the C-1 to aggressively push towards an enemy fleets position. This formation involves placing the largest, most heavily shielded vessel at the forefront of the formation where its increased armor, shields, and weapons can remain unobstructed with the remaining ships taking individual opportunities to position themselves outward from the spear to fire their own weapons before once more moving back into formation to hide behind the forward ship's protective barrier. This is also the primary Broadside formation of the fleet and is equally devastating to those unluckily enough to find themselves at its flanks.

Halo Formation: This formation often involves a series of ships that are positioned in a circular ring either around a primary vessel or with the center left empty. This formation is effectively used against singular enemy vessels as it allows the fleet to focus a great deal of fire at one point with little obstruction while adding the additional benefit of allowing ships to quickly break from the formation to evade or respond to events.

X-Formation: This formation is a simple X-shaped formation that is often seen with the commanding vessel rested at the center. Similar to that of the Halo Formation, the only difference involved is the concentrated grouping of the ships defenses allowing for greater PDS cooperation and support between each vessel.

Wall Formation: A rather simple formation that is rarely ever seen among the C-1 Fleets. This formation involves ships to position themselves along a single plane where their forward weapons can amass waves of destruction. The reason why this formation is seldom used, is because it has the least versatility and response capabilities of the others. However, with a large enough grouping of ships, anything at the front of this formation will quickly find itself engulfed in fire.

    Support Ship Formations:
    Z-Point Formation:
A formation that involves ships to position themselves in a compressed zigzag pattern allowing just enough distance for the vessels within to clear the emissions field of the forward ships thrusters. Escort ships are then positioned along the flanks of this formation in tight groupings to create a wall of defense around the vessels within.

Convoy Formation: A staggered formation that allows the vessels within to maneuver unimpeded and with enough room for escort vessels to move between the convoy ships without obstruction.

    Orders of Operational Parameters:

    Order of Engagement:
    Stage 1:
Gather all relevant data on potential enemy.
Stage 2: Determine reason for and potential outcome of combat engagement.
Stage 3: Should reasons for the engagement outweigh the potential negative outcome, carry through to stage 4. If potential for negative outcome outweighs reasons for engagement, initiate Orders to Withdrawal or Retreat stage 1.
Stage 4: Prepare for combat and move to engage.
    Stage 5: Commit to Engagement

    Order of Withdrawal or Retreat:
    Stage 1:
Ensure Civilian and Non-combat vessels are evacuated from area of conflict.
Stage 2: If civilian and/or non-combat vessels cannot evacuate, begin Order of Engagement Operations.
Stage 3: If civilian or non-combat vessels have escaped the area of conflict and/or stage 3 of orders of engagement has forced a conflicting loop, withdrawal and retreat all remaining assets.

    Order of Surrender:
    Stage 1:
If incapable of Withdrawal or Retreat, Engage. If vessel possesses classified technology, ensure its destruction.
Stage 2: If incapable of Engaging enemy forces, announce surrender to enemy forces. If vessel possesses classified technology, ensure its destruction.

    Order of Planetary Assault:
    Stage 1:
Begin Long-range surveillance of military defensive installments upon and around planetary system.
Stage 2: Begin Order of Engagements stage 1.
Stage 3: Initiate long-range weapon systems to destroy orbital defenses and military installations.
Stage 4: Ensure orbital defense installations have been removed. If orbital defense systems have not been removed, repeat Stage 3. If orbital defenses have been destroyed, proceeded to stage 5.
Stage 5: Relocate fleet into orbit around contested planet.
Stage 6: Begin orbital bombardment of military and defensive installations.
Stage 7: If military installations have been destroyed or are incapable of being destroyed by orbital forces, deploy Atmospheric Assault Forces.
Stage 8: Secure Planet via AAF and orbital fire support.
