Cant play this game.

I cant play this game and I dont know why.
First of all everytime I enter the main menu it says: News cant be downloaded.
When I try to create a new world it says. World File corrupted.
When i try to to join a server it crashes and says application error occured.
When i try to join a friend it downsloads the map crashes and says the same thing as above.

I tryed to redownload and reinstall it. Also verified steam files etc. Checked if everything is up to date.
