    Hello,

On my dedicated serer, we've been having fairly frequent episodes of clipping through the terrain and then free falling through the center of the world (earth like planet) which basically requires you to hit backspace and respawn as there is usually no way to get out of this free falling limbo.

Seems to be considerably worse lately - maybe since the frostbite update. Usually happens on foot when you impact the ground, say from jumping down or landing on ground, but also from drilling into ground or rarely with small vehicles landings. It never seems to happen at the exact same location and is seemingly random. It is a small group of people playing (5), but it happens to all of us. I've seen numerous posts about this in the past but no real resolution.

My server is a separate machine on my home LAN- running windows server 2016 essentials on a xeon e-2186 with 32gb ECC ram. Game is running on a samsung M.2 SSD. The total CPU load never exceeds about 50% and RAM usage never exceeds about 10 or 15 GB. No mods. More or less default server settings for survival world (with experimental mode enabled). Of note, the game doesn't seem to take advantage of intel hyperthreading.

I didn't know if it was better to post here or on Steam, so I'm starting here. Anyway, anyone ever found a setting that reliably fixes this bug? It is really getting annoying!

    Thanks- Nick

Same thing happened to me the other day, and out of all the hours I've spent in the game that was the very first time. Of course it also happened right at the start of a new survival game when my pack was full of good parts. *waves sadly* "Goodbye stolen thrust components! I'll never forget you!"

Yup, me too. On Triton several times, but I admit I had some NPC mods loaded, so they were probably the culprit.
