I am trying to host a server on my computer but I get this message when trying to connect. My laptop (client) is connected to my modem. My Desktop (server) is connected to a router, which has internet access through my modem. The router is also connected to a VPN server. Yes, I have a forwarded port on the VPN.

When I try to log in my world, I get stuck at Downloading world: 0%. When I check on my server console, the server gets the connection request and that's it. I don't know the message by heart, but it just says that user userID connects to the server. So the client DOES communicate with the server, and I assume it's not through LAN since my client is plugged in my modem and my server in plugged in the router. In fact, I tried to connect with both machines on the router and it worked, I assume through LAN.

I run on Win10 on both machines. I couldn't find anything anywhere in here or on google, thanks for your help!
