My constructor ship is drifting in space. Was chasing a piece of a ship that broke off and got out of it without turning dampers on. Is their any way to track it down currently in game? Is their a console command I can use to teleport to it? Constructor is full of components that would be kinda crappy to lose.

You can use SE Toolbox to open the save and find the position of the ship.
It lists all objects and their distance from you plus the global coordinates.
And you can set its velocity to "0.0". But make sure to backup your save before altering it.

Alright I found it thanks man! It wasn't far I was just not looking in the right direction.
I wonder if you can set a programmable block on ships that activates a beacon if the ship drifts a certain distance. How to do that .................

No, it has not, it has a new developer. You can find the latest release at https://github.com/mmusu3/SEToolbox/releases
