So I've electrolyzed the hydrogen from ice and put it in a hydrogen bottle, and put it in my inventory. Now that my jetpack's hydrogen has hit 0%, how do I get more into my jetpack?

usually the jetpack will automatically take a percentage of hydrogen from the hydrogen bottle in your suit inventory. if it is not feeding, make sure it is an actual hydrogen bottle and not an oxygen bottle. (they're not the same)

It's most definitely a hydrogen bottle. Nothing happening in terms of refilling though..

    Three methods.

    1. If you have a hydrogen bottle or oxygen bottle in your inventory, the suit will reload from them as soon as your inventory of hydrogen or oxygen gets low (around 25% if memory serves). Your suit will automatically repeat the process until the bottle is empty.

You can refill bottles in oxygen tanks, hydrogen tanks for each type of gas, or either gas in the oxygen generator when it is stocked with ice.

    2. When you enter a cockpit or a cryo chamber, the suit will recharge from the above three blocks if there is a conveyor connection from the cryo chamber or cockpit to the gas source and they are stocked.

    3. If you wallk up to a medical room and it is connected to an oxygen tank, hydrogen tank, or oxygen generator via the conveyor system (and they are stocked), you can press the F key. Your character will heal if you've taken damage, your energy will be recharged, as well as oxygen and hydrogen.

Also to note that any cockpit, seat or cryo-chamber will recharge energy if used.

    Hope that helps.

Yes, I was aware of the latter two methods, however the first one is what I'm interested in and it's not working. I need this since I can't do with having to return to a refill point every minute to fly around with a jetpack, particularly in space. Any known fixes?

Have you tried suicide? It often fixes character related issues. Other than that I don't know what to suggest. Odd that it doesn't work.

I hover around so much in jetpack building my ships, that I have to carry three H tanks on me so I dont waste time revisiting the refill chamber. I've never not had it work though (suit pull from tank in inventory)... I'm very curious what is causing your issue.

    Do you run any mods?

Usually I carry 2 oxygen tanks and 1 hydrogen tank and that's enough to do me for quite a while in my space station.

The other point to note is that your jet pack will chew up hydrogen a lot faster when you're using it on a planet, because it constantly has to "fight against gravity". (Well, whatever the reason is, it uses more on a planet.) So yes, carry 3 or more.

Just curious, they're reporting 100% before you transfer them to your personal inventory, and they're still saying 100% after you take them?

Nine times out of ten it's a mod that's been loaded and forgotten about. Even if it seems like it has nothing to do with the problem it could be impacting the ability to pull oxygen or hydrogen. I would suspect it's a mod to or a modded space suit.
