so i always have auto save turned off because it has a bad habit of going off just before i need to rollback. any way with autosave disabled how do you save a dedicated server ?

does it just check to see if your a admin and save when you click save or is there a console command or some other button ?

Wile setting up my SE server cluster, I just stopped everything to test this out. It just sends a file request from the server and saves a local copy, as of 1.032.018.

It would be awesome for the server to either allow or disallow local saving of the server file through a tick-box for non-admin users, and always allow a save option for
admins with a choice of what to do if they are an admin while also having local save feature enabled.

It's an auto-savegame backup tool which you can set to do at custom time intervals, and I think it should run ok on dedicated servers but I can't confirm yet.

The good thing with this is that it doesn't overwrite the previous save so you can restore it back to any time you like.
